who should supply workwear? employee or employer??our company expect long pant and steel cap boots.

Answers: I have worked places where on earth you get a every twelve months allowance for steel toe boots. If the cost of the boots the employee chooses is over that allowance they would pay packet the difference. Clothes are a little tricky. If it isnt a full uniform. i.e. pant and shirt with employer logo, etc., the employee should repay. If they are full uniforms next to employers business entitle, logo etc., the employer should supply them.
That all depends, are you unionized? Do they own a written policy stating whether or not you are supposed to suplly it yourself?
