They advertise as an agency where you could get $45,000+ a year. I've been here 6 weeks and including my training pay enjoy made about $250. I own a second job newly to pay my bills. I realize that once I build up some clients in attendance is potential to make that much but right presently I'm working for free!!

Answers: You are not entitled to an hourly wage beneath federal law. But your state's law may entitle you to an hourly wage (But this is doubtful.).

If you did have an hourly wage, afterwards the federal MINIMUM HOURLY WAGE law could be enforced.
NOPE.
u are commission, not hourly.
u are doing the college of hard knock or u can pay to jump to college. same difference pay perceptive.
suggest u get serious in the region of ur 2nd job and twice as serious roughly 'travel agency'.
live on poverty budget and when the economy turns around u'll enjoy some ggod money.
however untill that ime u have commission and yes u can label less than minmum wages and no they do not enjoy to pay u M.W..

I'm opening up a business. Im 18 and I be interested in knowing what businesss interests race around my age. College students, teenagers, younger adults. I was intersted surrounded by a coffee/yogurt/pastry shop, I love to bake and i love the cafe environment. The point is people are largely interested in generic widely held establishments like Starbucks. Ill purloin any advice. Ofcourse I thought of an Interenet cafe but that would pilfer hundreds of thousands of dollars. I need something simple, amazing and popular. Thanks!!

Answers: Coffee/pastry shops are everywhere. If you are going to start one trade name yours way out of the box.
1. try to use event trade teas and coffees since those are tasty and awesome.
2. allow ancestors to come and hang out. hire local wannabe rockbands every week. get ur shop a community type thing.
3. supply your stuff reasonably priced and outstandingly tasty.
4. preserve the bathrooms open to the public and verbs
5. as seen contained by #2 offer special stuff that no Starbucks could ever do close to paying for performances from people and hold community far-reaching events like a talent show or mode show or book signings etc.
6. donate some money to charity or volunteer some hours to helping the needy. it really would kind your business look good.
7. bring in yourself available for questions/comments and concerns. if you care afterwards your customers will come back.
Instead of exit a retail store, it would be safer financially, initially, to sell your baked products through an established store. Many stores will purchase your items to sell to their patrons. This will be a potentially "risk free" route to see if your goods would market and you would get a better opinion if this is really a beneficial venture for you.
