I own some question just about starting a greeting card business.?
I have be wanting to start my own business for a while and I heard somewhere that the first item you should do is utilize talents you already enjoy and build around them.Well, my wife is a great writer and we were thinking of writing greeting cards for income.
My question are 1) How do you get started 2) Should we start are own greeting card business or write for an exsisting company, i.e. Hallmark? 3) What nice of income can we generate with this. And anything you want to incorporate that you think could facilitate us. Thank You Very Much
Answers: I have a greeting card business. It's something I other wanted to do, ever since I be a child but could never come up with the funds to not only grasp it started but maintain it. There is abundantly more involved than most people believe!
So I chose to go next to an existing company. It's network marketing and as of but, we have virtually no competition because our cards are created on the internet, afterwards when you click send, they are sent to a warehouse where on earth they are printed, stamped and mailed out by the post bureau. You can choose from over 11,000 cards in stock or you can create your own, upload pictures, incorporate captions, borders, voice bubbles, etc...adjectives for less than $1/card!
I am have more fun with this than anything I own ever done! If you would like to try it, I will readily set you up with a free offering account so you can see that these cards are straightforward to send and the power of the cards is excellent! It's a wonderful, lucrative business.
In the current economic client, you would probably do better creating designs for cards, a bit than making your own.
I am a member of a site call Redbubble, and there is a group inwardly that site that specialises in card designs. I enjoy to tell you that near are some very exceptional artists in that group.
I wouldn't want to discourage you from your ambition, but you should consider the option very vigilantly.

Answers: Yes, but on the other hand I prefer to shop at new stores before hand...they have more hand outs which always come in handy when I'm handling heavy handed hand holding situations that require a helping hand or a hand up! I can't handle all of this electoral glad handing or hand wringing!
