Does the Data Protection Act apply to monthly newsletters?
I'm looking to put a link on my website to allow culture to register for a monthly newsletter. Do I need to register beside the Information Commissioner when I do this? A lot of their guidance is aimed at companies but I am an individual with my own, small website. I enjoy a privacy policy, etc, but I want to know if I have to discharge the registration fee to the ICO?Answers: If you're storing background about ethnic group then yes I would devise so. E-mail the Information Commissioner they'll know-it's their job.
Small business question?
When running a home family daycare does one enjoy to register the business with the town and thus wage taxes? Or just claim the income at import tax time and pay taxes afterwards? To open up a guard account lower than business name, does that also include registering the business beside the town? Located in the northeast surrounded by U.S.A. Thanks for the info.Answers: Day cares are exceptionally much watched by the city. It depends on the state and city and the amount of children you vigilance for. Where I live if you care for more than 5 kids, yes you must be license by the state and city (done at indistinguishable time) There are food issues, cleanliness issues, insurances issues etc with time cares. To protect yourself yes grasp licensed! Go to the Dept of Revenue in your nouns or online to get it. The costs are anywhere from $35. to $500. depending on your state and city. To attain a business bank information you have to show proof of the business license to attain it one.

Sandwiches?
i want to start a buisiness up delivering sandwich and rolls to work places but i will be making them from home. can anyone tell me how i achieve started and what is the legal side when it comes down to hygeneAnswers: you would have need of a food hygiene certificate, for proof you know the standards of keeping food fresh and fridges to be kept at a unmistaken temperature's also colour coded chopping boards for meat one for bread one for veg etc.Once you have done the course you will know adjectives this good luck.
You will enjoy to take a food hygeine course, and your premises will enjoy to comply with form and safety standards layed out by your local council. I would also research your predictable customers and competitors, and if you need funding, create a business plan. Don't forget you will stipulation public liability insurance too.
edit
You will own to look up the council to where ever you live. If you are underneath age 30 you may be eligible for a grant from the princes trust. Good luck.
I'm sure you're home will enjoy to be inspected by a local health authority. They will be looking at cleanliness, pest control, sanitation practices as in good health as others. There should be a website for them so you can see what they are looking for.
In the meantime, you can work on a menu plan, pricing, what work places you'll be targeting and perchance do a feasibility study (how heaps sandwiches you could flog to these places). You have to factor surrounded by the cost of your supplies, the time it takes to form the sammies and the [high] cost of fuel to get to and from those businesses. It would not be workable to take ONE sammie to a place of business.
Try to digit out how many sammies you can grasp from a pound of meat. Cheese usually comes in 1 oz slices, so you know you can take 16 from that. I think you can procure 8 to 10 sandwiches from a loaf of bread (regular size). Then there's the cost of lettuce, tomatoes, sprouts, etc that folks may want with their sandwich. I would package this stuff seperately. (another cost to amount in--packaging) Oh, and then there's chips or anything and drinks if you are gonna offer those.
I receive my husband's lunch every day and go and get about 7 sammies from a pound of meat. (That reminded me you'll want a appropriate food scale to weigh out the meat). He singular eats meat, mayo and cheese on bread. Sandwich rolls are somewhat more expensive than a loaf of bread. Bolillo rolls at Walmart are 5/$1.
You'll probably want to register as a limited liability company contained by case someone tries to sue you if they enunciate your sandwiches sort them sick.
Good Luck!
