There are several sites, statistics and quotes from authors that I wish to use on my website--with complete and proper credit and disclosure obviously.
Is it legal to do so short consenting the authors--but simply giving them full credit for the information?
For instance: According to Jane Doe in the book "I'm Happy to Know Everything", the average length of time a boat should float is 1-7 years.
Or something of that quality. Full credit, named sources,etc.

The book itself will make a contribution probably give you the expressions of use for the material. However, if you make available full credit... If it's a small excerpt... most authors would be happy to own you quote them. If it's a problem, they will ask you to take it down. Only a few companies, close to analyst firms, require for you to get full blessing.

Since nobody has answered on the other hand, I would reccommend you contact a local SCORE chapter. SCORE is a nonprofit SBA-affiliated group that offers free start-up counseling and they can steer you surrounded by the right direction. They have lots of chapter in Florida. As for what you should charge your clients, find out what the others are charging and shoot for alike ball-park. Good luck.
