No, you dont HAVE to have paypal, but your items enjoy a MUCH BIGGER chance of selling, near paypal. About every 9, out of 10 items, i have personnally sold on eBay, own been salaried with via paypal. But i deem the average is 75%.
I would suggest, that you create a paypal account, but run out any funds, every week. (dont leave more than $50 surrounded by there) It is true though, that Paypal will do horrible, and i mean HORRIBLE things beside your money (from experience).
