If you go outside the home and look to own your own BUSINESS how much do you reflect on that investment would be? Even if it was a small business it would be thousands of $$. As far as the "lot of work" even if you find a living - not a business - you are STILL going to do alot of work (unless you can start at the executive level!) The difference IS near a job you are making someone else well-off (boss) in your own business you are making YOU luxurious (with work).

I invested $95 and I remuneration $50 a month to own my own home based business that have in 9 months made it possible to quit my outside undertaking, where I be making my boss wealthy - to man at home with my familial, setting my own schedule and out of commission half as frozen as I did at my "job" , not being stuck surrounded by traffic everyday AND making myself wealthy! So it is really what the individual is wanting to do - work for someone else 40+ hours for at least possible 20 years (depending on age) or working for yourself for 2-4 years (yes working) and being competent to have not individual financial freedom but also time freedom.
