Or you can start your own online business. You may want to read the article “6 Hottest Businesses on the Web http://www.powerhomebiz.com/052006/web.htm which list six areas of the new Web that present different opportunities to small online businesses:

The Web offer tremendous opportunities for those who know how to harness it. You hear of stories of citizens who earn thousands if not millions of dollars from doing business on Web. While at hand are many scam (same way within the traditional business world), there are multiple ways you can legitimately make money on the Web.

Here are the key business models you can adopt:

1. Sell products on the Web - Big boys like Amazon or Lillian Vernon online catalog or smaller businesses approaching BigKidsVideo.com or Candle4Less.com all get rid of products on the Web.

You can either flog: (a) through your own storefront through your own website or applications such as Yahoo Stores; or (b) sell through online auctions similar to eBay

2. Information Delivery. Others such as About.com or EuropeforVisitors.com create content and monetize their content in several ways:

a. Advertising - From the article "How to Generate Advertising Revenues for Your Web Site" http://www.powerhomebiz.com/vol28/adrevenues.htm , there are several ways you can earn money from public relations:

1. Join an advertising grating. Advertising networks are organizations that aggregate Web sites that proffer advertising space, and put on the market banner ad (and other advertising options) across them. IS BUSINESS AN ART OR SCIENCE?

Question:

Answers:
I play it more like a sport. There are some artsy elements and sure you could sit around formulating calculation of strategy for purchasing artwork. But, when you take up a company and put it on the street you hold to be ready to compete. The bazaar is full of rival companies who don't want you squeezing profits away from their pocket books. They try to out advertise you, undercut your price, out execute your quality and services, take-home pay higher wages to attract better human resources, buy expensive equipment to provide better products/services, and on and on. You could sit back and add their next move, or design a better classified ad, but if your going to win profits -- you've got to bring back off your butt and get hold of on the playing field presently! It is better to lead the marketplace than try to catch up and out ranking the competition.

Other Answers:
I'd say both - neither one would suffice.
And even more, it's a tough exploit.
Somewhat like a real-life strategy activity, with no pick up button, no "reset" and no cheat codes.

Unlike what you hear, it is hard to find grant to start a business. These are just myths that some see, but the fact is that federal political affairs and even private foundations hardly bestow grant money for a for-profit business. And yes, grant mean PAPERWORK - lots and lots of it, that is to say why a cottage industry of grant writers be born.

Nonetheless, you can go to the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) http://www.cfda.gov and Grants.gov http://www.grant.gov - these are two sites created by the federal government to provide transparency and information on grant. Browse through the listings and see if you can find any grant that would support a for-profit scheme.

Even if you buy books on "how to get grants" or record that supposedly has information on grant -- all of them are mere rehash of what CFDA have, albeit packaged differently. But still the info is duplicate - hardly any grant for starting a for profit business.

On CFDA, here is a list of grant available for small businesses http://12.46.245.173/pls/portal30/CATALOG.BROWSE_BENEF_RPT.show - see if there's any for starting a for-profit business. THERE'S NONE.

Even SBA does NOT give out grant. From the SBA website http://www.sba.gov/expanding/grants.html...

"The U.S. Small Business Administration does not offer grant to start or expand small businesses, although it does offer a broad variety of loan programs. (See http://www.sba.gov/financing for more information) While SBA does bestow some grant programs, these are largely designed to expand and enhance organizations that provide small business running, technical, or financial assistance. These grant generally support non-profit organization, intermediary lending institutions, and state and local government."

Most of the federal grants are given to specific target groups beside specific requirements (e.g. minority business owners involved in transportation related contracts emanate from DOT - Grant#20.905 Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Short Term Lending Program

Grants are also often given to non profit groups or organization involved in training or other similar happenings (grant 59.043 Women's Business Ownership Assistance that are given to those who will create women's business center that will train women entrepreneurs

For private grants, you may want to check the Foundation Center's Foundation Grants for Individuals Online. It's a subscription base website ($9.95 per month) but their opening blurb simply says that the database is just what the doctor ordered for "students, artists, academic researchers, libraries and financial aid office." Entrepreneurs are apparently not one of them, so I take it they also don't enjoy listings of private foundations who give grant to would-be entrepreneurs.

I would close to to know how to write a company profile?

Question:

Answers:
Try
How to Write a Company Profile, this tool writes it for you, business consulting marketing services: Free tips and resources. How to write a bio, ...
www.allisonbliss.com/resources... -

Other Answers:
Keep it brief. State only the company, what it does, and what it's mission/goals are. Say "Company A is a [industry] business located surrounded by [location]. Company A deals beside [products/services]. Company A strives to [mission]."

You can elaborate on the above, but try not to grasp too long. Longer profiles tend to lose their meaning. Most those read a profile to get some nonspecific information about a company. If you want to give more information (such as History of the company), or elaborate on every service your company have to offer, after write an extended "ABOUT" page ... but keep the profile short and simple.

If you want examples. Go to YAHOO! FINANCE (http://finance.yahoo.com) and look up some companies. Each company list has a "Company Profile" relation. Or, they link directly to the companys website which usually have a profile.

Hope this helped.

how do i know it is the right college for me?

Question:

Answers:
Additionally, knowing whether the college is right for you depends on location and the ambiance. If you feel that the place does not fit your person, you are going to have reliable conflicting issues. Remember, this area surrounding the college (unless you are a commuter) will be practically your home for the subsequent 4-5 years. You better feel comfortable one there for a appropriate portion of the day.

Here's some specifics, if you close to a great social scene where in that are lots to do in the nouns, choose a college that happens to be in the vicinity a city such as Boston or NY. But, if you like the tranquil settings of a pastoral scene, consequently you are looking at a school to be precise remote and near rolling hill.

Additionally, when looking for a college, you have to ask yourself whether extracurricular actions are important. If you are looking to pursue an athletic stir with a funding, ask yourself whether you could fit in beside the coach and the demands of being beside that team. If you aren't subdivision of something more involved and just looking for groups, you should ask around the types of clubs that the school have. Include the type of facilities that the institution has.

Now, if you are looking for a academy for girls or guys, first off do not run to a private school. Other than that, don't consent to that be a significant determinant in the screening process; you could go to a arts school with adjectives beautiful women and finish up nowhere.

Finally, depending on what type of school you choose, simply time will let you determine if it is resourcefully suited for you. What might seem amazing within a weekend's worth of visits could lose it's effect after a few months. Do not wane into looking at transferring schools. Sometimes, nation do that because the programs that the school provided do not collect expectations. Or, missing your parents could be a factor (I knew relations who did miss their parents and left school). But, remember that the purpose of college is to gain an childhood and walk out next to a piece of paper stating that. You do not want to be in motion and party your days away with the sole purpose to come out short of a few hundred grand.

Oh, I almost forgot. Check if you can afford it. Ask what types of funding is available. Check whether at hand are opportunities for grant or even scholarships. If you hold an opportunity to go to university for free, look into it. It will make your stay more pleasant knowing that you do not hold to break your back.

In the bring to a close, choosing the right program, the right school, and the right environment can be fulfilling. Good luck.

Other Answers:
The best bet is to call in the college and see for yourself. Reading about it will not update you what it feels close to to be there. Go beside your impressions of seeing classes, hopefully meeting a few professors, and chitchat with students that walk there. If you perceive comfortable there, that's a great sign.

I mull over it would be really cool to own my own business (like a small video store or theatre)...?

Question:But I don't know (or think I have) what it take. Plus, I suck at math and have loathed every job I've have where I interacted near customers (I actually didn't resembling working at a movie theatre or at Blockbuster...hmm). And the threat of big corporations looming over my go before would probably be too much.

Answers:
Open up an Anime store or/& theater... no corperations getting on that boat yet, and it's a growing open market... AND all of us Anime freaks are a short time ago waiting for something like that!

You can start a biz and not hold to work on the fron line of it (although that'll indicate you'll have to recompense employees when you approachable up for bisuness, thus you can't run it alone you'll need a work force).

You WILL own to do paper work... you can return with an accountant to do the math/tax stuff if you want to spend more money (other then at import tax time).

First things first, make a "Business Plan"

You'll know what to do from at hand.

::: Peace :::

P.S.
If you don't have much money stored away, be in motion with an online store and start next to affiliates (plus you will most likely not necessitate alot of employees, or I don`t know none at all for this), from nearby work your biz up... always start small.
And yes you WILL own to work with others NO concern what.

If you don't like working beside other people afterwards I'd sugest you take what little money you enjoy and become a venture capitalist (that's the closes article to biz ownership with out doing ANY physical work and not having to other interact with folks, even though it's a plus if you do LOL)... personally I have an idea that venture capitalist are scum.... but that's purely me.

Other Answers:
Wish you luck!!

Well, I vote you officialy shouldn't open a business. Unless you hold about $30,000 plus sitting around for even the smallest of businesses, a love for intensely long hours (11-13 a day), and a love of accounting - personal business is out for you. You can't just totter in and enunciate "Hey, I own a business now". It takes some serious dosh and commitment.

Now as far as the big corporations thing go: They aren't looking for people to uncap jobs so that they can crush them. Big corps are only the progression of someone starting their own place and having it grow to something larger.

Email me at tammy@tammyscandlecorner.com.

I can show you a fun business and how to get started for smaller number than $60.

So you would want to get next to a firmly established, debt free company that is doing business surrounded by over 70 countries, has over 40 physical office, 7 cafes, rank the 4th fastest growing company of any kind contained by its first 6 years, and has an unduplicatble product mortal called the subsequent coca-cola, allow them to take the financial risks and you go and get the rewards by payouts of 53 cents on every dollar. That's what I did and the income with no experience have surpassed my professional income with a master's. Good luck to you. While you're researching, you can listen to a toll free, pre-recorded msg in the region of our company at 8OO-242-0363, pin 4055. HI there! I do Mary Kay and Country Bunny Bath & Body. Both are consumable products (which is a must for staying within business--even through the dry spells--because customers have to REorder when they run out). Both are really cheap to start up--Mary Kay is individual $100, and CBBB is just $89. With both of them, you acquire a TON more retail product than you pay for, so even if you simply sold what was surrounded by your starter kit, you product your money back plus profit! But what I do to really create them work for me instead of me working for them, is I put free ads online and drive traffic to my sites. Then society order online, I ship it to them if it's Mary Kay, or beside Country Bunny they ship it for me! Then all I enjoy to do is cash the checks (or run the credit cards!) If you'd resembling to work with me, I'd love to hold you on either of my growing team, and help you every step of the passageway!

My suggestion is go to a place similar to http://www.1and1.com and see what ever name you pick if not a soul has it. You can also do this locally by going to your local registry when you register your biz cross. However, I find it useful to do it over the lattice and then buy the domain mark so that way if a bigger company ever tries to get the name online afterwards I am safe from them suing me LOL because I registered it first (this can develop if a chain comes into town, and they’ve have their name b4 you simply not locally only through the net, but it’s still there autograph: W.W.F. sued W.W.F./now called W.W.E. see).

So pick cleverly... the two I have given as sugestions (so far) have not been bought as domain name in any form (.com .biz .info .org ect. ...)

The naming of your business could be one of the most prominent decisions you will be paid. A name's originality and legitimate availability will create a real asset merit of its own, as it becomes market and gains flea market acceptance.

The entitle you choose will become the focal point of all the benefits and features that relate to your business. Customers will know how to find and refer others to it in the adjectives.

Since any names that are suggested here may already be owned by another bash, I wanted to turn a different route...

I suggest either hiring a baptize creation firm or get together near your friends and/or family and throw a "pet name party" & have everyone bounce some thinking around. Compile a listing of name that you like the best. Once you own that list, do as much free research as you can past you delve into comprehensive research.

I listed some links where on earth you can do some preliminary name checking. However, please be aware that this is merely scratch the surface of what's out there. Only comprehensive research will relay you if the name is truly available. But, these links are free & a great place to start, so I'd try them out first.

There are other sites that grant free searching capability in conjunction next to their commercial services, so I'm not able to post those links due to the Yahoo! TOS. You'll also want to check domain name & yellow page, so simply do a search for "free domain mark search" and "national yellowpages" and the appropriate links will pop up.

Hope that helps! I will you much success & elation in adjectives your ventures!

This one is for small business owners. Not network design firms please. How much would you clear for a trellis site?

Question:How much would you be willing to take-home pay for a website that is more than simply basic. I know you can set up a free website or design your own and host it for almost 10 bucks a month. But are there small business owners who would resembling to have a professional website (that can pedal a shopping cart and credit cards, provide explore functionality, let users register on the site, etc.) but are put stale since it is more complicated than what they can do on Front Page and more expensive than what they can afford to have a network design company do?

Answers:
Hard to say, because I would love to know this as capably.

I could not afford $1,200 for just the design, but here are aspects that I would like.

I would approaching it if a company could augment what I already have and charge per item. To explain rather better, I can do the backgrounds, the titles, the links, the content, I can even provide pictures, but I would want someone who could serve do more with the pictures than only rollovers.
For this, I might pay $50 to $75 - There is no design work and it is a one time tax, unless I change the pictures.

For a complete collection like you are discussion about - near shopping cart, I guess, a 20+ page site around $50 a page.

I instinctively, still could not afford it with how small my business is. It would embezzle me moving to the next even with an actual location and a small business loan to meditate about it.

What you have a chat about is great and I am interested - call on www.inspiredtouches.com, but like I said - my payout would be controlled right now.

Other Answers:
contained by U.S. it would cost 49.95 one time and 49.95 a month.

We remunerated $1250 for our website, although the "designer" really wasn't a "designer", but a tecky who knew how to program. He be kind of fresh at it. We definitely get our money's worth, but take a look at our website and see if it's close to what you want. I also get a basic on-line quote from another network designer, and it was nearly $1200 for the parameters I chose, however, I'm sure we wouldn't hold gotten as much as we got next to the one we went near. Good luck!

Oh yea - it's about $100/year + for hosting.
