Question:Basic information about what I am looking for; I would similar to to have alittle side assignment on eBay. I used to sell Estee Lauder skin refurnisher
and fashion about $12 profit per bottle, it be going great until my
wholesaler went out of business. I have need of a new item that can be bought

Part 1: There is no one product for low wholesale price that you can resell on eBay. The seller who sell on eBay for a living, buy at BELOW wholesale and deal in at the WHOLESALE level. My warning is to businesses going out of business and buy their inventory. You can also target items being sold for clearance prices that are at tiniest %50 lower than straight retail. Ebay publishes a hot items list once a month. There is a category for Health and Beauty items. Watch that category fussily. Some of these items can sometimes be found at Dollar stores.
Part 2: Unless you are already a brick and mortar store, and buy in sufficient mass to get a big ample discount, it will be difficult to get merchandise low ample to sell on eBay.
A problem beside new merchandise on eBay is that once one individual finds a item to sell, other race will start selling that same item, thus you get price war. You have to enjoy an edge, such as a reflective discount from a source no one else can draw from anything from. It helps to be a buyer near a lot of contacts within a particular industry.
