I don't know how very well this will work, but you can try melting wax on a double boiler. Take a pot of hose and bring it to a boil. But a glass bowl on top (one that fits on top lacking falling in) Put the wax in the bowl and the grill from the boiling water should thaw out it to the consistency you need. I can't influence I've ever done it with candle wax, but it works superlatively with chocolate.
