The standard C Corp. is the choice of most businesses that will own cash flow and (eventually) partner, stock, board of directors, etc... It is an entity that has rights and responsibilities lower than law.
Sub-chapter S is a "C" tax at the higher personal rate, however has most of the benefits of a standard corp. However, sale of stock and transfer of the assets are constrained.
LLC is a newer entity and is very complex save handled properly.
State law vary and respectively may cause you to choose a different formation base upon the company you wish to create.
The issue of writing rotten part of the rent, electric and Internet is VERY difficult. The IRS is suspicious of any home business and you must be incredibly detailed and prove that the expenses are lawful and only used for business purposes. The auditor (and you will see one of those!) may disallow something a short time ago because they don't like the smell. The room that you run your business should be newly for that business and nothing else if not you must prove the percentage of time it was used for business and the time used as a dining room or anything.
It isn't easy, but if you suceed it is totally sastifying to have your own business. Good luck.

I signed up beside a company called Business Resource Services. Through them, I be able to access group strength insurance prices with Blue Shield. Then I could sign up for a big deductible policy with a robustness savings tale, which is just in the region of the cheapest way to go and get insurance these days. Insurance rates contained by our state are very expensive, but I get one of the cheapest policies available in the state, even though my business consists of of late me and my husband. It was undeniably cheaper than COBRA.

That anyone said, if you're starting up a business you might need to cut corners a moment or two bit on your own health care--meaning that you may own to hedge a bit bit of a bet and elect to have a better co-pay / deductible / reduce / remove some coverages that be available through your previous employer that you do not deem to be absolutely mandatory. From that point, you can shop many places on-line for independant healthcare. There are more than a couple companies out at hand that specialize in purely that. Do a G00GLE search for "independant healthcare", "entrepreneur healthcare", and investigate your local bluecross/blueshield to see what individual plans they submit as well.
