Take cash, otherwise, "The check is contained by the mail" and you will go broke. Nay, it is a trick, the pointer is you gotta explore the net for some fantastic and economical setup, hang on to on looking one, till you specialise in this enclosed space. A very difficult grazing land, but paying field - especially when goodwill turns up surrounded by a year or two, or three years, make it three, because 3 is a number which is a in place to go.

Answers:
It is hard to find grant to start a business. Unlike the myths that some perpetuate, federal organization and even private foundations hardly administer grant money for a for-profit business. And yes, grant mean PAPERWORK - lots and lots of it, i.e. why a cottage industry of grant writers be born.

Nonetheless, you can go to the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) http://www.cfda.gov and Grants.gov http://www.grant.gov - these are two sites created by the federal government to provide transparency and information on grant. Browse through the listings and see if you can find any grant that would support a for-profit project.

Even if you buy books on "how to get grants" or detail that supposedly has information on grant -- all of them are mere rehash of what CFDA have, albeit packaged differently. But still the info is duplicate - hardly any grant for starting a for profit business.

Even SBA does NOT give out grant. From the SBA website http://www.sba.gov/expanding/grants.html...

"The U.S. Small Business Administration does not offer grant to start or expand small businesses, although it does offer a general variety of loan programs. (See http://www.sba.gov/financing for more information) While SBA does propose some grant programs, these are unanimously designed to expand and enhance organizations that provide small business regulation, technical, or financial assistance. These grant generally support non-profit organization, intermediary lending institutions, and state and local government."

Most of the federal grants are given to specific target groups next to specific requirements (e.g. minority business owners involved in transportation related contracts emanate from DOT - Grant#20.905 Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Short Term Lending Program

Grants are also often given to non profit groups or organization involved in training or other similar happenings (grant 59.043 Women's Business Ownership Assistance that are given to those who will create women's business center that will train women entrepreneurs

For private grants, you may want to check the Foundation Center's Foundation Grants for Individuals Online. It's a subscription base website ($9.95 per month) but their opening blurb with the sole purpose says that the database is wonderful for "students, artists, academic researchers, libraries and financial aid office." Entrepreneurs are apparently not one of them, so I take it they also don't own listings of private foundations who give grant to would-be entrepreneurs.

Other Answers:
The best place to start would be the Small Business Administration. They maintain a database of available give in programs.

If you are, as your avatar would seem to indicate, a white guy, however, don't hold your breath. I've be through the SBA's list of grant a few times. Never found one that was available for white males.
www.sba.gov is the Small Business Administration's website. It have a wealth of information concerning anything from state laws to types of businesses. There is allow information on there, but not adjectives of them are based on your see. There are grants for specific types of businesses, veterans, etc. Also, at hand is a government grant website. I think it's www.grant.gov, but you may want to search it.
Its not a give in but check into SBA Low Doc if funding needs are below $150k. Approval time is 38 hours. Other grants I've deal with bear a minimum of 6 months if everything is filled out correctly.

Check into grantwriters - best money you'll ever spend - they show results!

requirement a place to unequivocal a restaurant. School or plant or hospital. any where on earth surrounded by USA?

Question:food court

Answers:
You don't want to open a restaurant surrounded by a school, university, a plant, or a hospital. Also strike past its sell-by date your list stadiums, corporate office, country clubs, snack facilities at almost any venue, and don't acquire too excited about food courts any.

All these venues hold captive audiences, target that you have a smaller amount potential buyers for your product. Location and accessibility are MAJOR factors within the buying decisions of the broad public when it comes to restaurants. Most these venues, in good health all except for food courts, contribute to a web loss on average for the food services that cater to them, meaning that even the successful food services contained by these businesses operate for a loss. The net loss is usually subsidized by the business that the food service is located surrounded by. There are management companies that specialize within taking these traditional "money losers" and operating them for profit, companies like Aramark, Sodexho and Compass. These companies hold incredible buying power that allows them to make money on the pay for end of their business, not on the P&L idea of the account. Their trunk revenue streams are rebates from purveyors and kickback from food labels they partner next to. While it is possible to make money contained by some of these accounts, most budget for very small profits or a break even.

Long story short, find a different venue. When ethnic group say "location, location, location", they couldn't be more right. By choosing to start a restaurant, especially your first restaurant, contained by one of these venues, you'll doom yourself to damp squib before you even start.

What do u do when u work w/ someone who is suppose to be smart but contained by genuineness does not even know what 2+2 is?

Question:I work with a man who supposeably worked as a Chief Engineer for tons years. Now he works in our organization and he cannot even send a fax or brand name copies or even use a stapler.

Answers:
lol i work with ancestors who have master degree who cant send faxes or gross copies either...its ridiculous.....hugely very catastrophic...they probably can but their just to damn slothful....but i can tell you one item it seems as if the better the degree that they enjoy the less adjectives sense they have

Other Answers:
Teach him.
Talk to your superior - to be honest freshly because you dont know how to fax etc.. doesnt mean your not moral at your job, I don`t know he never had to cram
Maybe he is one of those people that have book sense but no common sense. If to be precise the case and he is effective of doing his engineering job don't verbs about it. However, if he is truly stupid and can't do anything I would distance myself from him so you don't travel down in flames next to him.

Also, if you get started doing adjectives of his copying, stapling, etc for him then you will be stuck doing it forever.
rebuke..everyone knows 2+2=5
i worked next to 4 bosses who did not know crap and rode me to look good and they get promoted and i stayed at the same postion. i quit that employment cus it was something like who was surrounded by the click and not your ability to do your career.
Modern technology can stump even the most intelligent person. Mature age relations find it hard to adjust to the style things are done now. I used to work at at supermarket, 18 years ago, but plentifully has changed since next and I'd probably freak out if put in front of a modern daylight checkout. We used to have to put surrounded by each individual price that be ticketed on the item, by hand, no scan or eftpos transactions then and if the sticker be missing, we'd have to run around and procure the price. I "was" pretty good afterwards, we even had race just for fun after work, between the workers.
Source(s):
Just give him some time to adjust and you'll probably find that he's not such a fruitless person.
He may truly be smart, but ignorant to administrative tasks. We adjectives lack so sort of skill. Be forgiving and try teaching him, he'll truly appreciate you!
show them how to do their charge and let them construe its their idea.
Have you check his credentials, how do you know that he is really who he say he is? If he is an engineer he should know the details of machines, isn't that what they fix? Advice to him to take a course on bureau equipment and get another arrange degree within copy/fax/e-mail...

What Should I do?

Question:I have an oppertunity to begin my own store, my grandma has a shop that she used to do curls, i asked her if i can sell some make-up supply items, she told me go right ahead an that i can enjoy the spot no rent no fees go ahead, that be from last year, Now the problem is, its contained by the bahamas, i mean i dont mind going over near because i know the place well but i hold no support from almost every one close to me.they are saying shift to school get hold of a degree within somthing, but then i obtain give it a shot from 1 or 2 nation.

Answers:
You have several option.

You can wait to unequivocal shop, as it sounds likely that your Gram won't mind you exit shop at a later date. Then you could find school finished and hold something to fall put a bet on on.

You can open shop straight away. Your Gram could teach you the ropes of owning your own business, since it sounds similar to she already does/did that?

You can open your own shop and filch classes through correspondence or online while running your business, thereby doing both.

If you are confident in your cleverness, there is no grounds you can't open a store. Also, you don't *have* to walk to college right away. More and more people are starting college following in energy. I started at age 24. My sister started at 27. No reason at adjectives you can't try a few things out first. It may give you a better theory what you want to major within when you do go, fairly than picking something and deciding 3 years after that it wasn't really what you wanted, afterall.

Other Answers:
I would seize the education first. Then enlarge shop. This way, if the shop fail, then you other have something to fall over back on.

Make a list and put the pros and cons written. Then evaluate them to see what seems close to the better option. Go ahead, adjectives the best!

Do not know how frail you are but I can tell you this -- childhood is IMPORTANT In terms of a living, if you can start your own business and be successful that is far better than working for someone else --- it is more risk, but hopefully it have more rewards and it has more indemnity (if you are successful) It sounds like this activity is rather small and not very well though out - so my advice is to gain some education first -- work a few years to gain practical business experience--and then explore starting a business that can be truly a BUSINESS and not a lemondade stand type of scheme

Education's one of the most important things within one's life. Very few untaught people succeed. If I be you, I'd go to college, because it would break open a lot of opportunity for me. About the store- you don't know whether it will be successful or not, you can fail anytime. But if you hold an education, you'll enjoy a plan B(if you still want to open the store after graduation, what I doubt will happen).
;)Good luck! Please, don't allow yourself to be put within a state of dilema as to what step to take contained by this matter. I strongly insist on you to go on your knees and ask God to bestow your direction.

But if I were you, I would opt for the pursuit of my training as the future surrounded by so doing is much more brighter than going into selling. I can tell you from personal experience that going to college is a complete debris of time for certain citizens. If you are having doubts more or less opening your business next you should go to academy. If you dont think that your business can generate ample income to support you then you should travel to school. But, If you are devoted enough to invest adjectives of your time making your business work and learning the ropes afterwards I would skip the education and spring right in.

Sorry, you own to invest money to make money...nil for free.

The first piece you want to do is READ as much material as you can BEFORE getting into ANYTHING! If you suppose books are expensive, try ignorance. RESEARCH the property papers with a fine tooth comb. As far as I've read, to carry into a renovation situation isn't a too good hypothesis, unless you are turning it over for a profit. My advice, GO to the book store and gain books on Buying a Property and How to start a convenience store. Good Luck. And by the way did I vote LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP!? By the way a devout book to read is "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki. Its a great book on business and investing.
