This doesn't work because different items contribute a different amount of gross profit to the bottom queue. A $6 hamburger, for example, contributes $4 in gross profit while a $12 entree contributes $8 surrounded by gross profit. While the budgeted food cost percentage can be achieved by selling any item, the entree item will contribute twice the amount of gross profit to the bottom line, substance it pays more bills and leaves more for profit.

Unlike the myths that some perpetuate, federal administration and even private foundations hardly impart grant money for a for-profit business. Nonetheless, you can go to the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) http://www.cfda.gov and Grants.gov http://www.grant.gov - these are two sites created by the federal government to provide transparency and information on grant. Browse through the listings and see if you can find any grant that would support a for-profit project.
Even if you buy books on "how to get grants" or schedule that supposedly has information on grant -- all of them are mere rehash of what CFDA have, albeit packaged differently. But still the info is like - hardly any grant for starting a for profit business.

Question:If I were to try and persue a trade in toy making/stuff animals(obviously my resourceful designs) would that get me unbelievably far?I understand it would depend on the dolls appearances', but trust me, they are pretty upright.
Answers:
This depends on your goals. It sounds approaching you have a hobbie that you would approaching to pursue as a career. If you brand the dolls yourself then here is a suggestion - craft several different types, colors, etc and try selling these at a flea market. This will do 2 things for you. 1st it will report you whether or not there is a souk for your dolls and 2nd it will tell you if your price is too low or too glorious depending upon your sales. If you do this for subdivision time income then you merely need to generate a few dolls and then find the names and address of the people thru instructions. Don't forget to get a deposit for the substance from your customers to make the dolls.
You could also start a website and hold pictures of your dolls listed next to the pricing and how your customers could order on flash.
Also if you get really dutiful at this and start selling alot of your dolls, you may want to get a government grant from the US Patent Office in DC. This protects you from others coping your design. Once you own a history of sales and a official document then conceivably you could contact Matel Toys, KB Toys, and others to see if they would buy your patent. This agency you sell the design rights to them and make royalties from adjectives sales. This could run global.

My view is that you should try it and see how far you get. Maybe start sour doing something little like a stand surrounded by the mall or a celebration for some of your friend's kids. Just keep going until you surface like you tried every entity possible to make your business run far. you've got zilch to lose
you could rent a booth at a craft unprejudiced and sell your creations to see if you are any appropriate
You could get REALLY far. If your stuffed animals are REALLY cute afterwards kids will like them, here are ALOT of kids all over the world so your sale have the potential to skyrocket and you could expire up like the creator of Barbie (and look how top Barbie is). You will never know what will happen if you dont try!.Yeah. Toy stores are very popular, and if you are individual and creative you can go enormously far with it. You can still run to school and swot up about businness and marketing so you can be your own boss. run ahead and try! you have nil to lose!
If they are different to what is person produced now after yes you will go far.
Doesn't thing what you are designing as long as it is good competence and different to what is allready on offer you can be successful!
Also depends on whether you plan on starting your own business or will you work for an existing business.
