I am seriously thinking of becoming an independant contractor and working out of my home for a teleservices company. What do I do to go something like doing this, i.e. getting a tax id#, paying taxes, etc. Any proposal on getting started would be appreciated.Answers:
It is very simple. Get yourself an S corporation. You can do it online, and cost $200 to $400, base on where yoy live. Then apply for a Tax ID # on the web, IRS website.
