how do we run more or less designing a menu for an italian restaurant?
Question:Answers:
If you're smart, you'll pay to hold it professionally done, by someone with restaurant experience, not a moment ago any graphic designer. Your menu is your biggest sale person and it desires to be treated with necessity.
No use of color
"Listing" prices in a column, encouraging budget shopping by the customer
Pricing items to the nearest nickel (i.e. $12.95)
Not highlighting glorious profit contribution items or highlighting low food cost items instead of high profit contribution items
Prices not updated at most minuscule twicer per year
Not using pictures or graphics to sell large profit contribution items and whet the appetite to result in better order averages
Not using "buzz words" or phrases to deal in high profit contribution items
Not designing the menu to imitate the personality of the operation
Using fonts that are too small or strong to read
Menu layouts that are confusing to the untrained eye, even though they make sense to us
No identify information on the menu or cover, including business name, address, phone number, email or website info., etc.
No suggestive selling inside the menu
Inadequate nouns commitment - Failing to treat the menu design process with like peas in a pod due diligence as any other capitol investment
There are very few restaurants that hold well designed menus. If you'd approaching examples of great menu design and marketing, visit an Applebees. Notice how infallible items jump out of the menu. Notice the color. Notice the pictures. In my feelings, their menu is too big, and their food quality is marginal, but apparently the standard public disagrees because they are the largest casual restaurant manacle in the country.

Do you have an idea that a Take-Out Indian Restaurant surrounded by Conway, AR would be successful?
Question:Conway Arkansas has roughly speaking 50,000 people. It is 30 miles from Little Rock. The town have three Colleges (approx 15,000 students total). The town is growing at rapid rate, and unsullied business's are opening almost everyday. There are single two indian restaurants in Little Rock; and Conway is almost considered a suburb. I would approaching to open Take-Out solely Indian Restaurant. I would like some input or adivce from experts surrounded by the industry. Thanks a lot.Answers:
Sounds similar to good hypothesis....but where would you locate it??
Other Answers:
Indian Restaurants seem to be to to well simply about everywhere. I wonder if it's a trend though.
Yes. I know the nouns. The closest Indian that I'm aware of is Star of India and I wasn't that impressed with it. The Take-Out selection just make it that more attractive.
I think the nouns would depend heavily on advertising. I frequently travel from Northwest Arkansas to Conway for my available job, and I would definitely be interested within your restaurant but unless someone at my company knew something like the place I would not be aware of it either. The primary complaint I hear when in Conway is the deficiency of restaurants close to areas such as the industrial park and other corporate headquarters. Plenty of people endorse through Conway and the area is unquestionably growing, but the Take-Out only concept might be an hindrance to success. Traffic is a huge problem contained by Conway as well, so adding together delivery to the business may be a correct option. I'm not an industry expert, purely a possible future customer.
Call it " CURRY OUT CRUISINE "
sounds honourable to me

Health Insurance for Start up?
Question:I am planning to begin a startup surrounded by ecommerce early subsequent year. I currently work for a Fortune 100 company. To begin this activity, I intend to take donate of absence. I am however worried give or take a few not having form insurance for me and my family. Can someone suggest how to win a decent coverage? (Is CORBRA an option)?Answers:
First stale, good luck beside your new project! Being a small business owner can be very rewarding. Even if the money isn't any better than in the past, you will get a great sense of enjoyment from being your own boss.
I've be a health insurance agent since 1985 and will do my best to answer your examine.
COBRA is often more expensive than a form insurance plan that you can get on your own. This assumes that you and your family connections are healthy and can qualify medically.
The key advantage of COBRA is that you cannot be turned down for it. In most instances you can hold it for 18 months. After that you will need to find other coverage.
This brings up the big disadvantage of COBRA. You can't hold it beyond a certain time of time. Unless COBRA is significantly less expensive than a comparable plan, you should look into getting a plan that you can save until you qualify for Medicare. Even if you are healthy in a minute, you may not be healthy within 18 months when your COBRA ends.
In my state of Connecticut, it is cheaper to purchase an individual health insurance plan as challenging a group insurance plan. However, the reverse may be the case surrounded by your state. You should check into both kinds of plans.
I've put together a index of links to Insurance Departments:
http://lovetherates.com/insurance-information/departments-of-insurance.htm
I suggest that you check with your state's insurance department and see what plans are offered surrounded by your area.
Good luck.

Out of business nouns.
Does any one know the start up cost for a hotwing restaurant/business?
Question:Particularly, in the Memphis, TN nouns.Answers:
Most people that start restaurants do lose money, and lots lose their life nest egg.
The failure contained by the restaurant business is not due to competition though. Good restaurants with honourable locations stay busy. It's due to poor management systems, doomed to failure follow through, or bad marketing.
What it costs to start a hot wing restaurant is completely subjective. You can lease out an outdated, small restaurant building for next to nought that has adjectives the equipment in it, junk to spend money on marketing, proper training of your staff, organizational tools, skilled help, interior design to fit your concept or proper signage, and you could amenable one for $10,000 or less.
You could also budge the opposite route, going into a topical upscale high rent location, pack the place with plasma blind TVs, Italian marble, mohogany furniture, brass fixtures, staff with the best rewarded most attractive waitresses, and spend a cool 2 million dollars to open.
Personally, I wouldn't bear either route. Depending on your experience running restaurants, your erudition of accounting and business principles, your marketing and brand building experience and experience with daytime to day operation of a restaurant at an owner's even, I would either create my own concept from mark (if you're VERY experienced with adjectives the above) or I would buy into an existing franchise (if I had totally little experience in any or adjectives of the above).
The organization and marketing of your restaurant, and your competency to implement all the systems is going to determine your nouns or failure, not your competition.
If you'd resembling more help, tolerate me know. This is what I do. Visit http://bodellconsulting.com/restaurantplans.htm to see a great alternative to purchasing a franchise. There's even a concept centered around wings that can be expanded near more wing selections.

When empire think in the order of starting a business, they all obtain the same idea--start a restaurant. That system there's always so much competition that most of them are going to stir broke.
Most people who start restaurants lose their energy savings. When it's gone, it's gone. Save yourself the trouble and simply flush the money down the toilet.
Do better interest rates contribute to more inflation?
Question:With so many corporations, entrepreneurs, and mom-and-pop businesses relying on borrowed money to nouns their operations, wouldn't it follow that they will, at some point, incline their prices if it would cost them more to stay in business due to difficult debt expenses?Answers:
If higher interest rates contribute to inflation later the Federal Reserve so have it wrong!!
Most inflation is believed to come from an over live economy beside too much money chasing too few goods. By raise the cost of borrowing money, it reduces the amount of money society have to spend on more stuff. That slows down the cutback.
Most businesses don't rely on borrowed money to stay in business. They typically used borrowed money to expand their business or acquire other businesses.
Other Answers:
Actually difficult interest rates is a force for lower inflation.
The concept is as follows
You're on an island with 100 populace and there's $1,000 dollars floating around in circulation. Nobody can borrow money. A ride on the Farris gearstick costs a dollar.
Some wise guy decide he will start lending money to folks. That effectively "increases" the perceived money supply surrounded by the economy from $1,000 to $1,500. The Farris rudder now costs $1.50.
The wiser guy LOWERS the interest rates....effectively the reduction now have $2,000, everyone's has money within their pocket, the Farris wheel very soon cost $2.00.
Lower interest rates has a tendencey to increase prices (inflation) while difficult interest rates does the opposite.
I didn't see a together lot of price cutting while interest rates be dropping...
Most business loans are not adjustable so your logic doesn't follow. When there are inflationary fears, rates are raise to slow the economy. Less citizens get INTO business and smaller number people buy houses and unsullied cars and such, so the economy slows.
Quite the in front of. The Federal Reserve raises the interest rate when they consistency inflation is creeping in. When the interest rate go up, inflation and the stock market go down.
It actually does the different. Higher interest rates have the greater affect of corporations and others borrowing smaller quantity in total pumping smaller amount money into the economy. Also, difficult interest rates typically force people/businesses to hold their money in mound accounts that are earning more interest than commonplace instead of investing it. This is the challenge the Fed face, controlling inflation without slowing the discount too much.
You make a flawless point about ratification on the cost to the consumer but it doesn't always work approaching that. Think about mortgage rates. If they travel up, and your trying to sell your home, you'll certainly lower your asking price b/c of the increased cost to potential buyers.

When a company is incorporated contained by one state, can a company contained by another state hold equal given name and spelling?
Question:I know there can with the sole purpose be one company, but is it on a state or national level? ie. i work for tom jones inc. surrounded by georgia, but there's also a tom jones inc. in north carolina. the just difference is the city, state, and federal id number. it's getting confusing and we're starting to be confused beside the other company. from what i've heard they not long changed their name to matching one i have, and i've be in business 4 years.Answers:
Yes. You can hold the same corporation describe as another company in another state. But if the moniker is trademarked, then you can be sued by that other company.
From the article "Incorporating With Same Company Name within Another State" http://www.powerhomebiz.com/guide/cases/jessiechrissie.htm , "In order to form a corporation, most states individual require that the corporation's name be distinguishable (ie. different) from the name of other corporations and/or other business entities that are registered in the state of incorporation.
Once you hold incorporated in your state, no other corporation could be formed surrounded by your state with alike name for as long as your corporation is within existence. However, this would not preclude someone from incorporating a business with one and the same name surrounded by another state. It can and certainly does start, and I have individually come across many corporations (and constrained liability companies) with compatible names contained by various states within my work as an incorporation specialist.
However, in instances where on earth a name is trademarked it would not be entirely unheard of for a company to receive a identify to cease and desist from infringing on a trademark and, contained by effect, requiring the company to change its first name. "
Other Answers:
Company incorporations are purely on a state by state basis.
So you can be name the same company moniker, so long as there is no trademark on the company's cross.
However, if you sell something near the same describe as another product from another company you can face court action.
yes they can. i work at a govt agency and we get confused too.
