Offer something other stores don't have. For example, if you own a Wal-Mart close don't try to compete with them on price. But you can compete surrounded by selection and element. For example, they might have ten belts. You could compete by have 30, etc.
I would say turn out online for up and coming designers who may have large quality trendy clothes that would be exceptional to anything else your local competition would have.
