Where can I find out detailed information on how to embark on a retail store?
Question:I would like to break open a clothing store, but I need a great deal of info on how to do it, besides getting a loan. For example, how to process payments, how to do payroll, and etc.Answers:
in my queue of work I consult small business owners.
i am sorry if what I am about to inform you may seem cynical but i ask you to consider what i am saying:
it is really really tough to gross money in retail and the hours are long. if you look around your nouns and really pay attention you will probably see greatly of small retail locations change name frequently. it's because they went out of business.
surrounded by the past year, i own had 2 retails clients stir out out business and lose about $200k within total. even if you end up making money, retail stores are intricate to sell.
i commonly tell topical clients that starting a retail business is liking buying a unpromising job.
i realize nearby are exceptions but please do a lot of research since incurring debt or lease commitments.
best of luck to you!

Depending on your state, your local chamber of commerce or secretary of states office is usually especially helpful. Make sure you look into corporations status near your sec. of states office as all right. You may also want to talk next to an accountant and/or a business lawyer. rob your time and do your homework.

first you'll need to find a net hosting company. type that in G00GLE, or try godaddy.com. later you'll need to build the website. Try to use software close to FrontPage or Dreamweaver. there are also webhosting companies that donate software to build you a generic design for your website, if you're technically challenged. you'll also want to buy a domain name, close to www.mybusiness.com. you can usually buy those through webhosting companies as well.

someone know in the order of duty.freestores.com ? Can I buy at hand?
Question:Answers:
I wouldn't. I was thinking going on for it myself, but did some extensive research. First of all the domain cross was basically registered, despite claims that they have be around since 2003. The testiomonials were copied past its sell-by date of another website, another website that many believed to be a scam as all right.
Other Answers:
never heard of them. you can usually buy anywhere, but determining if it's a scam is a full different thing. Since not a soul else replied, i'm going to guess that they haven't heard of it any. Better look into something else. Or post a question asking more or less what you specifially want to buy and someone can tell you where on earth they've gotten it...ok?
I did the mistake a few days ago and I can put in the picture you, it is a scam.
Do you reckon a store that caters to dog and cat owners would do apposite.?
Question:selling designer clothes and houses etc.we don't have one within our townAnswers:
Maybe you could start with the neccesary things first, after expand. If you can undercut any competition within a conceivable driving distance, and can remember names powerfully, sell goldfish, dog and cat food, treats, manufactured as resourcefully as custom built houses, then incorporate your designer clothing as a small addition, freshly to see how it goes. You know if your items cost equal or more the traffic will be very low. But yes I surmise pet sales reason for a real suitable income. Now, location, the better the locatiuon the more it'll cost you. People in towns where on earth traffic is 9 cars long to the intersection find that corner lots are not as good as they be when cars only furrowed up 2-3 long. Too busy of an intersection makes it impossible to take in and out.
Or you could purchase a franchise. But here's a verbs little example of what it might take to seriously consider such an enterprise:
Other Answers:
You could send for it "PetsMart"...
Yes, if you planning to just cater to dog and cat owners. look at a few online examples, then consider the population of your town, any dog parks, doggie daycare, what are the citizens set to see in a shop. sites to look at...

i started a inferior sole proprietership, what steps can i lug to dissolve it?
Question:Answers:
There is nothing to dissolve; it is merely a registered business name. Usually your state or province have a procedure where you can deregister the heading, so it can be freed up for others to use. But, basically unlike a corporation, you can waddle away from it and it will die a natural demise.
Other Answers:
You'll have to stop your life.
A sole propietorship is not a legal entity as far as I know. The with the sole purpose thing you would entail to take attention of is if you registered with your state, a DBA. Give the registering agency a bid and find out what they require. Other than that you shouldn't need to do anything. A sole proprietorship doesn't stipulation to be dissolved, because it's not a separate entity from yourself.
Just start over again.... Just turn out the lights and put out the cat. If you are a sole proprietorship, there is no court "entity" to dissolve. You just announce to your customers and vendor that you are closing your business, settle up your debts and terminate your contracts, and close. But if you are unqualified to settle your business debts that is another story, because as a sole proprietor you are intuitively responsible for all of them. In that satchel you had better consult a collapse attorney.

I a short time ago read that you can find out who an online business belongs to on WHOIS...?
Question:So should everyone (in CA) who starts an online business not only register and win a business license but also register the domain name at a place resembling WHOIS? I have my website up and running, I already hold a few regular clients. I don't need a Fictious Business Name as my concluding name is within my business' name. I am the sole proprietor and hold no employees. I don't vend anything but my translation services. So, do I really have to register my website somewhere? I read so various things on different sites and I am unable to find the answer to that quiz so far. If you know anyting, I would appreciate any suggestions and feedback. Thanks!Answers:
First of all, near is no place "WHOIS." "WHOIS" is a look up function available at the larger domain-name hosting companies. For example, go to the Network Solutions site or the Names Direct site (www.networksolutions.com). Somewhere on the home page you will find a interconnect to the site's WHOIS function. Click on the link and you will be taken to a peak where you can do a prod on one of several criteria. I found out the hard path that in some cases not adjectives of the domains can be located on Network Solutions. I had used Names Direct until that time, so I try there if the domain is not at Network Solutions. I hold always found what I am looking for if I help yourself to this approach
I do not know about Names Direct, but Network Solutions have an extra service that you can pay for: Private Registration. If you use this, your first name will still appear when someone does a WHOIS search. However, Network Solutions will button all inquiries from third party regarding your domain. I guess that it is well worth the money.
Finally, your Web site is more than probable already registered somewhere. Some company is hosting your Web site, more than likely alike company you used when you set up your business.
By the way, sort sure that you look into (1) if you need to collect sale or use tax and (2) do you necessitate a city business license?
Best of luck to you. Thank you for letting me be of service.
Other Answers:
You can block people from seeing your WHOIS information through your domain heading registrar (if that is what you are asking).
