Otherwise, get their describe, look them up online, and then contact them.
I have the same issue. Try looking contained by G00GLE - type in "wholesale_________". Fill surrounded by the blank with what you're looking for. I found various good wholesalers who carried characteristic stuff at good prices.

You might also want to check out trade shows. Don't know where on earth you're located, but I know the New York Int'l Gift Fair comes to town twice a year and it's worth going. And it's FREE! You may want to G00GLE that too (International Gift Fair, I mean.)

Good luck, and don't present up!!

What does everyone come up with of this eBay auction?

Question:
http://cgi.ebay.com/hottest-jewelry-myst...

Think Mystery Auctions work?

Answer:
I think it sounds resembling an AWESOME listing. I conjecture I will end up bidding on it.... dealer has righteous feedback. I think mystery auctions are dutiful. ALWAYS read their feedback. This person have A+ feedback though. I'd say if you be thinking about bidding it would be a well-mannered idea.

$125.00 worth of jewelry for $40.00 - HECK YES!

That's a short time ago my opinion though!
I antipathy to bid on things when I don't really know what they are. I would be interested in seeing what the defeater gets and if the abiding bidders actually do achieve their money.
I'm not a fan of mystery auctions. You never know what you're going to receive and majority of the time, it's not worth what you paid. She have one negative feedback and some society that left postive feedback claiming slow shipping. Being's that it's a mystery auction, she can furnish you one item or she can give you more. It's totally up to her. I approaching to bid on something that I know without a doubt, I'm going to gain.
well, adjectives shes sending you is a box...she could screw you over if she wants.

All her feedback is going on for hair growth and stuff similar to that, not about mystery jewelry boxes.

If you want that jewelry, afterwards take the risk, I intuitively wouldn't
Looks like she's a 'jack of adjectives trades'. Probably sells for a time of everything, and has too much of it. I presume it looks good. The one and only neg feedback she has, say she was sorry... some things you can't prevent!

I instinctively think that she looks honourable and honest. Plus, if you don't get what she promised, PayPal is AWESOME roughly speaking getting you your money back!

I have to do it one time and PayPal refunded EVERY PENNY of it.

I read aloud go for it!

I don't know if it is available there but try some mobile phone directory service.... just a thought!
If your surrounded by the United States you can go to the local library usually the leading branch, and ask them for the "COLES DIRECTORY" this is a reference book so you won't be capable of check it out but you can either copy or right down the information they hold listings by demographics, states, cities, and neighborhoods. I hope this helps.

Question:
If I can get a broad idea of this process, I enjoy follow up ideas on this commercial, plus accepted wisdom for other commercials.

Answer:
I bet you could email the marketing dept. of a major tire company and see what they speak.
Before you do anything I would write something on paper, and take a copyright on it otherwise others can steal your idea. Then I would dispatch it to all the leading tire companies around the world giving them an outline, and are currently accepting offers from tire manufacturer and then agree to the bidding start and accept the untouchable bidder and either put on the market a one time of limited time use for it or deal in the entire copyright.

Attn: Smart business minds, pls share concept on ways for us to promote our “hair cuts for kids” salon?

Question:
Hi all,

My wife and I own two franchises of barber shops that submission haircuts for kids. Both are struggling, but we believe that w/ a moment or two creativity and help, they could be profitable.

My wife and I own other jobs, but we do work unpaid at the salons. More importantly, we are committed to spending more time to lend a hand the business grow.

We especially need oblige in marketing. Any great accepted wisdom?

Also, do any finance whiz have accepted wisdom on what we should be analyzing in our QuickBooks? I’ve hear that we should be tying financial and operational notes together to make decision, but we’re not sure what to look at.

Our shops are in the Midwest.

Any philosophy are welcome. Thanks surrounded by advance.

Rick & Harriet Venus

Answer:
Kelly e have some great advice! Flyers and coupons are great to promote your business. Moms love coupons. Think to yourself who your target audience is. Kids, yes. But who holds the currency and really cares if their kids bang are too long? The parents. More importantly the moms. (because dads like scissors.) So where on earth do you find moms? Grocery stores! Ask to put up flyers or put coupons at the check-out. Or take an hour and slip away out coupons to people that step in and out of the store. Wal-Marts, K-Marts and Targets are biddable places too.

Have you thought about putting up a myspace page for your business? Myspace creates tons of traffic. You can browse for nation in your nouns that have kids. And when you find them, dispatch them a message inviting them to try out your salon. And once you find them, you can invite them to become friends on your page. Send out bulletins with coupons attached. (repeat business!)

I dont know exactly where on earth you are in the midwest... but check your nouns to see if you have mom to mom sale. Its a place where moms draw from together to sell and buy babe-in-arms clothes and items. You could pass out flyers in that. Place ads on craigslist.com (dont forget to pick state and closest city on the right side. home page take you to san francisco.)

Try putting ads within the local newspaper or sending out mailings. Check the town corridor. When I lived in Ohio our city put together a calendar beside coupons from local businesses.

Hope that helps! Good luck!
Advertise contained by a school directory (to unpunctually this year)
offer coupons for so much bad a haircut and be in motion to local grocery stores and ask for a community board (library) Hang a flier.
On Saturdays put balloons outside and promote the kids tresses cut, offer so much stale first time customers and get their name/address so you can hold on to them in your information base or on a mail list.
See if any school have any upcoming events close to fairs where on earth they look for "free" items to raffle offer your salon services to carry people contained by -
Frequent customer cards work great. (Let people use matching card for multiple children.) i.e. Buy 9 haircuts and the 10th is free...
Advertise contained by your local kids directory. Make your salon kid friendly. If you only submit haircuts for kids, paint the salon within vibrant colors, install flat screen tv's and video team game systems to make the customers individual want to come to YOUR salon. The salon business depends upon loyalty, as I'm sure you know so you have to do something to set yourself apart and fashion the parents willing to bring their children to you. You may consider implement something for children's birthdays parties. Not sure what you could do for the boys but to attract the girls, you could start offering manicures to paint the little princess' up on their birthdays. This could bring exposure to your salon.
When I worked contained by the Pizza industry, we use to promote ourselves by giving away free small pizza's to kids who won spelling tests, read so plentiful books in a week, have no sick days for the quarter, etc. This was a small pizza w/ 1 topping for free, no other purchase important. But it got the parents within our door and 95% of the time other items were ordered beside it. With yours, since no adult cuts, simply offer the free spike cut or 50% off cut or a small service you proposition for free. This way it get the parents familar with your place, location, style, and at most minuscule 50% should return for the next style.

If you have a net site, trade banners/ad's with other local companies. Maybe even swap ad's next to a big name grown salon in town. Doubt they would want to do kids and you don't do adults, but you both do hackle, great partnership of swapping off customes on the other hand never effecting each other as competition. I do cosmetic work on large line autos presently, and I do this swap with local body shops. As my work is a gamble away of their time and their work is beyond me, we make a accurate couple.

Talk to local papers, coupon stores, advertising outlets and consult to the owners/managers. See if they have kids, if so, bad a swap of services to pay for the ad's. I use to do this for the used sports car magazines. I would come do service to the mgrs sports car and in turn I would receive 2 weeks of my ad contained by the book. Many like to swap work for work or service for service. Back during my food days, we'd swap pizza for McDonalds, Taco Bell, etc. Mgr's attitude is... " not my money, why not trade? "

Sponsor a kids soccer, t-ball, softball troop. That way the parents are more familar next to your business name. Sponsorship usually is a fee of $40 and afterwards uniform shirts, bout $150. And if they win, a $100 meal of pizza and rime cream. But customers do lean towards those that assist in the community. I hold noticed an increase contained by business when I have trophies on my wall from local team to when I don't.

Offer free cuts to all the kids contained by a local up coming play or musical. In return, be able to put your business describe, logo and something like "cuts compliments of" on a sign and put it on a artists stand sour to the side of the stage. Free advertising for a free service. Talk to the college or theater teacher.

Call up the local girl scout troops and tender them space in front of your store to put up for sale their cookies. Again, connects parents to where you are, consent to alone now you own all these girl scouts as customers.

Get items contained by the business that are geared to the kids. Ask kids what they would want. Magazines, small hand held games or puzzles, coloring books, etc. Make it so they want to run to your place. McDonald's put a simple cheap toy in a happymeal and look at how copious parents run there mete out the kid won't shut up bout wanting that toy. Use same thinking for you. Maybe even give away a cheap 50 cent doll or something. Can find abundant items like that through dollar stores and wholesale outlets on trellis to keep costs down.

Letter up but for get a coupé wrap on a vechile if not adjectives. That way as anyone drives around, you are selling the business everywhere.

Find a local web designer and donate a swap of services for a nice web site to be built. I am sure nearby are designers out there w/ kids and would swap for such a service. Make a nice, simple, but flash web site, pictures, I don`t know a small game or two for kids. One, you want to look massively professional, upscale, etc, so the parents feel approaching they are treating their kids, and you want to get the kids attention, final to that McDonald's thinking and the toy or bubble tubes or playground, etc.

On the local Chamber of Commerce? Become a member, attend a few meeting, meet a few other local business owners. Do some cross selling, etc. I did this during my beginning days and it did retribution off next to contacts, leads, etc.

Are you a BBB extremity? If not, pay the dues and go and get the plaque. Without realizing it, it does generate people perceive more at ease next to a business, specially if small and local. Shows they are serious. Some newspaper, magazine articles roughly you and the business framed help also, shows you are bigger or more specified than they realized. This help with that thinking of " I enjoy to keep up beside the Jones " and they will spread the word for you in word of mouth. My one paint shop be grown greatly by this one idea.

Depending on your location, whats around you, possibly block off a clause of parking lot and make it a mini playground or skate park or inline skating nouns. Something the kids can swam to, a small place to hang out and play. They will relate fun to your business cross. And the parents will have to bring them or pick them up, again, they see your autograph.

Hit up a sign store (Fast Signs) and get some of those cheap plastic cardboard signs you see surrounded by the grass on corners. Houses for sale, garage mart, new housing nouns, etc. Put them out early saturday morning and appropriate them down after close on staturday. Most inspectors are not out on saturday and you can get away beside doing advertising on in our time w/o fear of contract violation or fines. If they do entrap you, at most they will take them down you transport you a letter to stop. I did this during my paint shops opulent opening. Inspector is who told me something like it. Signs avg $10 a piece or so. Have a haircut special. Price one week, wear your girl scout or boy scout outfit and obtain 50% off, etc. Again, achieve your name into parents head. And make the kids grain good result in they are being recoginzed for their accomplilshments of girl or boy scouts.

Maybe enjoy a special or sale morning, have a family unit friend or even yourself dress up as a clown or some character. Maybe even hold that character show up at local school and hand out coupons and small toys or something as economically. Just like Ronald McDonald, Little Ceasars Pizza Pizza guy, etc. I used my Pizza Pizza guy to the point I have the suit wore out.

Anyone or wife good at doing nail? Offer a free nail errand to the moms while the kids get a everyday priced hair cut. Be another appropriate person to do cross public relations with. Leaving biz cards, flyers, something surrounded by each others business. Can even do this next to a local pizza shop. Some will glue/tape your coupon onto their boxes for a week if you post their coupons in your store. Make up 1/2 sheet ad's at Kinko's for $40 (1000+) and next hand them over to a Papa Johns, Angelo's, Domino's. Franchise stores are more potential to do this than corporate stores. Talk to store mgr.

Think that will keep you busy for a bit. Enjoy, hope you stay afloat, so plentiful are closing their doors during these hard times. I myself own had to shrink posterior to just a 1 man operation, myself, to stay afloat. Use to hold 16 employees.
Hi Rick & Harriet, if you truly want elevated impact cost effective public relations for your businesses then I suggest you contact these nation.
