Most American candy is sweeter than the British equivalent so I'm not suru how popular it will be. Also, American chocolate eg. Hersheys tastes vile.
Perhaps you would be better to focus on sweets from the EU accession states. There are hundreds of thousands of Polish general public who have just this minute moved to the UK, along with several many Latvians, Estonians, Lithuanians etc. You may enjoy a better market if you target products at them.

I don't like American candy. I basically about approaching Hershey's Kisses and that's about it. Their chocolate taste funny. Their M&Ms and Kit Kats are weird.
