First rotten, is it really a pyramid scheme? Do your research first- you can't supply any one advice in need the facts. There are good companies out in that that are MLM. The government have strict guidelines- I know of a website that talks going on for pyramid schemes and how to set down them/ tell if you own found one. Also check with the BBB, if it is a accomplice it should not be a scheme (very strict guidelines for membership). If it is publicly traded it is not a pyramid scheme- the FCC and the IRS enjoy investigated the company and will continue to monitor the company.
If this "friend" won't agree to you (or your friend) be about joining, cross-question the relationship. The person does not thoroughness for you. Even if the company is legal and not a pyramid mission, it doesn't mean it is a fitting fit for you. I am a referring travel agent with YTB ( a contestant of the BBB and publicly traded). It works for me. I get to be home next to my boys and still earn an income, no quotas, no inventory, no collections, no parties...to me no hassle. I would not do well as an Avon rep, home interiors or any other shindig company- I don't drive and I have small children. A friend of mine is retired, and does impressively well at Pampered Chef- we enjoy a nice relationship and have no complex feelings give or take a few not being interested within joining each others institution. We do buy from each other though :)
I would be massively skeptical of signing up for ANY pyramid scheme, especially if you hold already identified it as such.
I would just speak politely but firmly to your friend that you are not at all interested, and not to jeopardize the friendship for the sake of money profit.
If he does not listen and keep on pressurizing you, dump him as soon as possible - 'cause he's no friend.
it depends, how much money is involved and how much you have to invest.because usually the friendships running out when there is money involved.if it sounds too upright to be true DON'T do it... you just hold to tell your friend that you are not interested .and if your friend does not respect your wishes next he wasn't a real friend to fire up with

very well, maybe your friend doesn't even know that he is into a pyramid plan. you must talk something like it first and save him from trouble instead of judge him and getting upset. give him the benefit of the doubt.
