I used to baby-sit all the time and the kids used to love this team game.
Spiders Treasure-This only works if you can do paperwork to keep the kids inhabited by themselves for a while as you set up (maybe put them in front of a movie if they are antediluvian enough to survey it without blowing the TV up or something unnatural like that).
You can do it any inside or out side and you need long pieces of string (a different color for respectively kid is easier). Wrap the different colored string around sturdy objects not fragile or breakable things that might fall over, brand the strings crisscross all across the nouns making what appears to be a rainbow spider web.
At the conclusion of each string put a small treasure! Assign respectively kid a colored string and watch him or her run around to unravel their spider treasure.

Now, I'm supposed to advise you scholastic board games, but since you didn't specify their age group, I suggest you try the good o'le musical chairs, truth or dare, a kid movie (shrek, shark allegory etc.), or have a cook-off (let them mix cut up fruits and candy)..but treasure hunts can be treacherous..they would probably knock off furniture etc.. but there's other tons of happenings such as drawing and painting, but don't create them do it for more than 30 mins, because rest assured, they will be bored! And bored kids are scary ;-;
