We've done a lot of business on Ebay and never enjoy had one problem. I hold never ordered outside of the USA -- except from Canada. AND I always look at the seller feedbacks to make sure they hold established themselves well on EBAY beforehand doing any large $ transactions. I'm wary about unusual sellers and anything overseas. There are deeply of scammers out there.
That's a great deal of money. See what rights you have through EBAY and or PayPal. If you remunerated via PayPal or via a credit card you might have some court means to return with your money back. You can homily to your local law enforcement but I suspect that they won't be capable of do anything since everything was conducted over the internet and overseas. They might know how to advise you of other avenues.
Did you foot via PayPal? If so you could probably get your money final through them if you file a complaint.
