If you individual paid $350 surrounded by taxes (less than the $600 rebate limit), you only draw from back $350. Since you have earned income of at lowest possible $3000, you would get at least possible the minimum rebate of $300.
While the rebate depends on your 2007 income, it is actually a rebate toward your 2008 taxes. According to the proposed plan, surrounded by 2008, taxes would be cut from 10 percent to zero percent on the first $6,000 dollars of taxable income for individual taxpayers.
It's similar to a one time tax cut for 2008, but you grasp the rebate now instead of waiting to report your 2008 taxes. Because this is an advance allowance on your 2008 taxes, your refund subsequent year could be more (or less!) depending on your 2008 income.
Use the calculator below to compute your rebate.
Yes, due rebates will step out in May. Here is the plan:

The bag, which passed the Senate 81-16, will send rebate checks to 130 million Americans surrounded by amounts of $300 to $600 for people who own an income between $3,000 and $75,000, plus $300 per child. Couples earning up to $150,000 would draw from $1,200.
The checks are an advance on subsequent year's refunds, and most, if all of the money, will be deduct from taxpayers' refunds within 12 months' time.
One Working Spouse and the Economic Stimulus Package?
If one spouse is working and the other doesn't but file a amalgamated tax return, will the alien economic stimulus collection give us respectively $600 or just to the working spouse?Answers: This grill has be asked so many times. If you database married filing in somebody`s company with a reciprocated income of under $150,000 respectively spouse gets $600 for a total of $1200, and $300 for respectively child, provided that you paid at least possible the $1200 in taxes within 2007 (it is a rebate). It does not matter if both or one spouse works, it is a combo of underneath $150,000 for 2 people that is to say important.
My ex husband forged my designation on tariff documents, any model what will come to pass to him? Jail?
We were already divorced, I own full custody of son, whom he DOES NOT support in any path. He went to HR Block, file a joint return claiming ME as dependant as powerfully as my son. Forged my signature on return. Got a refund anticipation loan check which he instantly cashed. This was ending year and as I filed a seperate return as single claiming my son, it raise a red flag. My tax return was held untill I sent documentation proving we be divorced and I supported my son. I am just wondering presently that he was found within the wrong by IRS what may happen to him. I am hoping incarcerate time. Any ideas?I asked this within Legal, just looking for more response
Answers: unless something change, you do not need a attorney.
he does.
that's his problem.
IRS has the route of referring his case to the US Attorney for the district within which he lives. if he disappears or is unwilling to cough up the back taxes, plus interest and penalty they may well do that.
H+R Block's guard [HSBC] is also chasing him since he defrauded them out of the export tax anticipation loan. They may well refer the shield to the local DA for prosecution on fraud charges.

meanwhile, you should be asking the court in your state to state him in vandalism of the court ordered child support that he isn't paying. And then ask for an instruct attaching his banking accounts and wages.
You'll enjoy to send those to the state he is in a minute living in [your attorney will know how to do this]. Your hope with adjectives this is to seize any and everything you can to fulfill the child support directive. [besides, funds and assets seized for child support can't be wasted by him on lawyer to fight his criminal cases.]
devout luck hire a lawyer and be in motion after him to pay your fees
close to i said good luck!
I don't focus he will go to young offenders` institution. He will have to reward the corrected amount (the difference between what he did pay surrounded by taxes, and what he should have paid). Which will show paying back the return and then some probably. On top of that he will enjoy to pay interest and penalty.
While what he did was stupid I don't presume it will be worth it to the IRS to have him prosecuted.
I'm glad you be cleared. Sounds like it be pretty cut and dry since you had adjectives of the documentation.
