Child support is not taxable income.
It's not taxable to the payee or deductible to the payor.
Child support doesn't come from Social Security, it comes through the Dept. of Social & Rehabilitation Services (SRS).

How do i amount my amount on the import tax rebate?

I am single, 3 dependents, and made 25000 in 2007. How much am i getting subsidise? Some sites say 1200, while others right to be heard 1500. I think the conflict is if I attain 600 or 300 for myself.

Answers: It depends on the amount of 2007 taxes you paid.

Under the compromise bill passed by the Congress, you would be eligible to receive a rebate of up to $600 if you compensated that much in Federal Income Tax. If you lone paid $350 within taxes (less than the $600 rebate limit), you only draw from back $350. Since you have earned income of at least possible $3000, you would get at lowest the minimum rebate of $300. Since you qualify for a rebate, you would receive $300 for each dependent child.

While the rebate depends on your 2007 income, it is certainly a rebate toward your 2008 taxes. According to the proposed plan, in 2008, taxes would be cut from 10 percent to not anything percent on the first $6,000 dollars of taxable income for individual taxpayers.

It's like a one time rates cut for 2008, but you get the rebate immediately instead of waiting to file your 2008 taxes. Because this is an finance payment on your 2008 taxes, your compensation next year could be more (or smaller number!) depending on your 2008 income.
Check mailbox in May is answer and don't spend it since you get it.

Right presently it looks like individuals will catch 600, married couple 2 X 600 or 1200. If you have kids, put in 300 per kid.
You can only claim up to 2 dependents if you are file online, to claim more you'll want to sit down with a tariff preparer.

EIC (about 2,474 per Dependant, then doesn`t matter what you paid surrounded by.)

amount of EIC depends on how much you make, and what your inherited size is. You get the most out of your return if you are making between 8,000 and 15,000 for a family of 3. With a ancestral of 4 it is between 10,000 and 20,000. This also depends on if you are married or not.

Uhm the dude above me is talking more or less the stimulus package which isnt going to be issued until the summer, and have nothing to do next to regular filing of 2007 taxes.

if you are chitchat about the conclude of spring beginning of summer box it is still due to change... but right immediately its $600 per tax payer, and $300 per kid. 1,200 per married couple. But this may depend on if they are going to convey more money to low income families, and veterans and adjectives that good stuff, it is still exceedingly much so up in the heavens.
The piece of information you left out is how much within taxes you actually rewarded on your 2007 return. However, if you paid taxes of $600 or more concluding year, you will receive the full $600 for yourself and $300 for each child for a total of $1,500. However, if your deduction were such that on your 2007 return you rewarded less that $600 surrounded by taxes, your rebate would be reduced down to the amount of the taxes you actually salaried.
