If I have no income tax but file Homestead-will I qualify for the tax rebate?
Answers: afraid not
As introduced, you would need at least $3,000 in earned income to get the rebate. The bill did not pass in the senate.
So for now, nobody's getting anything unless there's another vote on it.
No, you won't based on homestead.
And yes, the bill passed both the senate and was already passed by the house. Pres. Bush is expected to sign soon.
Can I claim EIC if I be 17 surrounded by 2007?
I worked and earned $1442 within 2007. I am not a dependent, so I should be a qualifying child if one of my parents needed to claim me. But neither of them claims me and I want to claim EIC. Do I have to be 25 or can I claim EIC because I am a qualify child?Answers: At your age if you file your taxes you do not qualify for EIC unless you enjoy at least 1 child of your own. You must own a child of your own or be 25
Yes, you have to be 25 and engender under 12560.00. I am surprised that neither parent claimed you. You are too behind the times for them to get a child levy credit but they can still get a personal exemption for claiming you. Take prudence!

Has anyone hear of similar cases and if so how were they handle besides having to continue for my wife to get here and get hold of her SS#. Please Help!Answers: If she doesn't have a Social Security number, you'll own to get her an ITIN (not "INIT" similar to you typed), File a form W-7 with the IRS and they'll issue her a number.
