The most recent import tax nouns rebate check, do I carry one?
I heard surrounded by the new today family who made between $3000 to $75000 will receive a rebate check of $300-$600 this May. Here's my situation, I earned $87K ultimate year, however, I got let go just two weeks ago, so not anything income plus employment pay. Do I qualify for a rebate check? Is the rebate check base on last year's earn or this year?Answers: It depends on your 2007 income and taxes.
There is a phaseout provision for single taxpayers whose ADJUSTED GROSS INCOME (AGI) is above $75K. You will apparently get smaller amount than the $600.
its based on your taxes file for 2007.
if you make 87K a year later I told really think you entail it.
if you have employment rate its not zero income
The rebate is for what you file for 2007. If you were out of a job 2 weeks ago, that means you own 0 income for 2008. So no. You do not qualify for a rebate.
