Does anyone else abhor the IRS as much as I do?
OK, first I filed my taxes on Jan 11th online so I wouldnt hold to wait surrounded by long lines.. I figured file them this early would backing me to get my settlement back up to that time the "rush". Well, I first got a statement stating that it would be contained by my account by Jan 29th, which by their "cycle" it should own been dep. on Jan 25th, consequently Jan 24th it stated there be "processing delays". Called IRS, no luck. Then I checked on the Morn of Feb 6th and it stated that it would be deposited on Feb 8th. I called this morn and another statement come up and said it was going to be another 4 weeks!! At 7 am, I am calling the IRS and giving them an ear-fulll. I get the impression sorry for whoever is on the other end of the phone. They sure dont vacillate to hound us about paying them and taking our taxes out of our payroll checks. I am so FED UP near the IRS! I am a single mom of 3 children, I go to college full time and I work full time, I was really expecting to hold a little money surrounded by the bank to help out meAnswers: No. Just call them 1-8OO-829-1040.
The same point happen to me. I file on 1/11 and was suppose to acquire it on the 1/25. It was metamorphose to 2/19, then updated that it would be deposit on 2/8.
I call the irs and they said it was self reviewed and If it's release then I will seize it sometime today or the following friday.
SAME THING HAPPENING TO ME RIGHT NOW
So, I efiled my tax return on Jan 28, it was accepted - no refund yet. How long will this take?
Answers: About another week if you used direct deposit. If you are being mailed a check 9-3 more weeks. This time frame changes the closer we get to 4-15 so it is just for now.
who did you file with, they should be able to tell you when you get it back... you should have recieved some confirmation as to when u would get it back. i filed with TAXACT online and i got my money back actually a week before they said i would.
there should be a efile refund cycle chart for you to look at and figure out when you will get your money. if after u check and it says u should have recieved it... contact the irs or file again
Did you have it direct deposited to your checking account? It could still post today.
For heavens sake DO NOT refile it as someone suggest and never write checks on the funds until they are actually in your bank account. This is a VERY busy couple of weeks for the IRS.
Some issues holding up SOME refunds are child support, back taxes owed, and people double claiming children so they can both get the EIC.
Should I stay unmarried for toll purposes?
We got rear legs a lot of loot near our taxes; should we get married? will we capture more?we have 3 kids and we get about 9500. we don't sort much money. no flaming please.
Answers: You are probably better off toll wise to stay single. It depends on whether or not you both work and how much your income is. If solitary 1 works and is a high income worker it would be best to be married. If you both work and are low income earners, single is better. There are too tons variables to answer with a yes or no.
if you interest.tax canon favors marriage and children (probably because it be written by religious folks who are pro-family.
married filing mutually has the lowest toll rate...(the highest tariff rate is for MFS)...
if you file single...it have a slightly higher due rate than MFJ.
You will always receive more married filing combined than filing single serperately...ALWAYS
and Vegas your an idiot. There is no benefit for file married. Only benefits the standard deduction for single is 5,350 the standard speculation for married filing unified is 10,700. In case your still retarded 10,700/2 = 5350.
Not singular are you eligible for more credits married but your tax bracket is lower.
This scheme more money in your pocket.
