By what day does an employer need to have a w2 sent out?
Answers: They must have it postmarked by 1/31/08, which means you may receive it after that date.
It has to be mailed by Jan. 31st...but that means it can take up to 10 business days for you to get it. You can't even complain to the IRS about not receiving the W2 until April anyways. Just wait it's coming. If it's from a job that you quit in the middle of last year...go ahead and call them to see when it was mailed. Some places expect you to pick them up and then mail them.so it won't hurt to call and find out.
Tax Rebate?? Will empire be delivery a check contained by the adjectives or will it be added to the deduction?
Also, does anyone know if the tax software Turbo Tax have the new due rebate information in it?Answers: The excise rebate is due back contained by June and it's $600 per single person and $300 per children if you own them. Not sure the tax info will be on turbo rates but it may if you bought the one with free online support.
There is NO rebate however as the law have NOT been passed!
