Do seniors with out earned income qualify for Stimulus tax rebate?
Answers: The White House said Thursday afternoon that the rebates would be available to those with at least $3,000 in earned income.
The plan is still far from final, it still has to be drafted by the Senate. But it apears if you have no earned income you do not qualify as it stands.

What are peoples views on this:Everyone is the UK&USA paying an extra lb1/$1 due each month to give support to under developed countrys similar to Africa?
Its basically nought out of a regular tax paye pocket but if respectively and every one of us do it, it can very possibly edit out poverty for good! Help Africa to build homes and treat diseases.
Just lb1 a month ( not even 25 pence a week!)

Answers: IF (and this is a giant IF) I knew that the money would progress to help those within need, within responsible, sustainable ways, then sure, what's $1 per month, or even per week.
But likelihood are, any sum like that would go into the worldwide aid black hole. Most would get sucked up surrounded by administration and studies, markedly little would hit the ground in Africa. And most of what does hit the ground, will be in motion directly into the local leader/warlord/president for life's bank accounts, who would use it to fund time of war, repression, and genocide.
Like now.
So overall, no gratefulness.
this will not save Africa, nor even aid.
Africa's problems are not that its people are not industrious, nor that it have no natural resources.
Africa's problems adjectives relate to severe mismanagement of the resources they have. If you provide more resources, what happen is that the thieves, both the ones within office and the ones out of bureau, will simply steal more.
Imho, in demand to make any significant progress, Africa desires to change several of their culturally ingrained customs.
Attacking another tribe because has become more successful singular invites counter attacks -- and both destroy work and means resources.
Allowing the tribal elders to conduct operations everything only allows them to enrich their children at the integral tribe's expense.
Running a country composed of multiple peoples as if it was a tribe, and looting the resources of the in one piece in decree to benefit the dominant tribe [as in Nigeria] lone leads to tribal warfare and even more destruction.
These are the problems of Africa, coupled next to severe undereducation and resulting actions base on superstition instead of science, not that there are not adequate resources.

If i claim 2 on earned income & he files 3 on child tax credit than who gets the rebate in may?
Answers: The credits don't matter, only the exemptions. If you are claiming an exemption for your child (code 1, your child who lives with you) then you get the stimulus bonus regardless of whether or not you claimed EIC or CTC
The rebate check will be based on who claimed the exemption. He got the credit, he gets the $900.
When you file in 2008, if you are the one claiming the exemption that year, the IRS may give you the $300 per child then. (He wouldn't be expected to pay it back.)
