I also should get the unearned income. But when I started doing my taxes my return (without including tips) I am solitary getting $844.00 back why? Oh and I claimed exempt knowing I would acquire ALL my taxes back."

Answers: You are reasonably required to report the income (although many culture do not). If you do, then it will drop off the amount you get stern, because this is money you received in which no import tax was withheld. Hope this help.
based on the brand of work you do, IRS already knows whether your profession usually receives tips or not. [Hint: if you capture less than minimum wage, it is because you should also be acceptance tips.]

so if you do not report any tips, you are asking for an audit.

**
If the audit determines that you willfully failed to report income [as it will], consequently back taxes are due, PLUS interest and (usually) a 25% cost.

If it you don't get audited for several years and you've consistently not reported tips, consequently the IRS might also refer your case to the local US Attorney for criminal prosecution.

thus, it is erudite to declare your tips.
No.
I don't know how much your tips are?
I have a client that made $24,000 in tips? I thought the
restaurant employer have made an error (but not).

You are required by the IRS to claim any and all tips.
Your Employer is required to report these tips??!
How come your employer hasn't be raided by the IRS??
At lowest possible audited..! .
$2476 is covered by your exemption and standard deduction
that is to say given to you by the IRS. so you owe nothing.

But the more you net over this amount and (if it's not too much) you will get
a better Earn Income Credit. Otherwise if it's too much you
will owe.

Hey Big Brother is watching.(smile) some IRS employee can catch a subpoena and find out where you work..
They are tenuous this bearing.sorry.
By the way, your employer be supposed to accept your tip reports and include them on your W-2 (because he owed taxes on them too!).

When you record your 1040 and fill out the form 4137, you will own to explain why you didn't report the tips to the employer. Otherwise you are subject to an additional cost. $500 in unreported tip income is going to cost you $38 to $60 contained by extra tax.

Did your W-2 show allocated tips?

As for getting fund only $844, so? You didn't enjoy any taxes withheld. Filing exempt on the W-4 tells the employer not to withhold any taxes from your paycheck, so adjectives that's left is EIC if you are eligible.

I own my mobile home can i get a tax break on my lot rent i pay?

Answers: There is no such thing as a rental credit for a mobile home lot.
Do you mean on your income tax? No. Rent isn't a deduction.

Your mobile home is personal property unless you also own the land, have surrendered the title to the state, and the state says it's real property. Then you would pay real estate taxes, and if you were paying a mortgage, might be able to deduct the interest.
YES YOU CAN!! and I do every year thanks to an accountant letting me know, I get an extra 400-800 back every year.
EDIT: I want to go into more detail, everyone who is saying No has no idea what they are talking about, part of your lot rent goes to property tax and yes you can get the money back.

Answers: Yep they will filch it all.
You would be better past its sell-by date filing a combined return and filing an injured spouse form, you will be capable of get a larger assumption and they will only pocket her part that be paid surrounded by. The amount you receive for the rebate depends on what you file to originate with. I don't know if they will be garnishing from these checks. Good luck.

I checked and...
