Taxes Questions and Answers

Everyone is NOT going to obtain maximum amounts on different rebate??

This is from the white house fact sheet concerning the new proposed due rebates:

In 2008, taxes would be cut from 10 percent to nothing percent on the first $6,000 dollars of taxable income for individual taxpayers and the first $12,000 of taxable income for couples. Taxpayers could receive rebates of up to $600 for individuals and $1,200 for couples. A minimum of $300 per being and $600 per couple would be available to those with at least possible $3,000 of earned income. This nouns would be available to everyone with in synch gross income less than $75,000 for singles and $150,000 for married couples file jointly. It will be phased out for taxpayers above those income thresholds.

Which scheme for example, if you are a family next to two kids you are eligible for UP TO $1,800. That doesn't mean you will grasp it. It depends on what your tax liabilty is. The govenment is NOT going to pass you more than your total tax liability. Am I benevolent this correct?

Answers: your points sound logical.

But, I would be shocked if this is what happen because Pelosi wants money to stir to people who do NOT clear taxes too. So, I think you can go and get the full rebate even if you don't pay ample taxes to offset it. I've hear that people who simply earn $3,000 (and likely foot no taxes) would still get the $300 rebate.
This is how I see it:
Rather than steal smaller quantity of our money from each take-home pay check, they will steal the same amount but supply some back at export tax time.

They will make it posterior by raising taxes on your gasoline, utility bills, cell phone bill, etc.

They meditate we are stupid..and they are correct.
Your eligible up to $1200 rebate if you are married and have kids... If your single, max is $600..

Your getting 10% of the first $6,000 you claim.. Then, if your married your getting 10% of the first $12,000 claimed.

Eligible for simply people that earn atleast $3,000. Minimum available for single people $300, and $600 for married culture.

And, if you earn more than $75,000 as a person. You are not eligible for the rebate.. And, if you make $150,000 jointly/married you again, are not eligiable for the rebate...
Your 2008 income will be guestimated by the IRS looking at your 2007 excise return.

If the rebate is coming from the change contained by tax table (which is what they did in 2001), after this is an ADVANCE on the 2008 refund and when you record in 2008, you won't go and get the money twice.
Where did you hear that this is based on your export tax liability? I've read many articles and from what I rally if you have a liability you achieve a check based on your household size.

When u contribute a contribution to someone of $11,000 can that lower u to another levy braket?

I know the irs allows $11,000 a year tax free as a payment.

Answers: no - you can't deduct those type of gifts to people on your export tax return - only contributions to reputable and approved charity organizations. If you contribute an individual a gift over $12000 contained by a year, YOU have to payment a gift import tax - it's tax free to the receiver
Actually, it is now $12000.

But...

As gifts to individuals are not deductible contained by any way, it have no effect on your Income Tax Return. So, no, it will not lower you a bracket.

If you filed married but filing seperately will you still get the 1200.00?

Answers: Yes, Each would get $600. Which is 1200.
Paying it back - OK they give us $600 this year - but where will all that money come from? They raise the tax brackets, so next year you will pay $100 more in taxes - another $200 the next year and so on...
