Should i record a toll returns?
i did not work the year of 2007,i had to change out my 401k to pay bills ,would i obtain the upcoming tax settlement there chitchat about surrounded by the news will i attain a refundAnswers: That's going to be a short time weird. They usually export tax your cash-outs of 401k's at almost 50% - when you cash them out. Not working shouldn't find you any of that money back. You would own been better rotten taking unemployment or welfare, financially speaking.
Tax rebate unmerited to single, working PARENTS?
It seems that the proposed due rebates are undeserved to single, working parents. I am a single mother of 2, I work 40+ hours per week...my gross income for the year is $34,000. According to everything I have read so far, I'm with the sole purpose eliglble for the $600 rebate. Yet a working COUPLE with children qualify for an additional $300 per child. Isn't this nouns?Answers: I think you'll carry $600 for you and $300 for each kid. I judge you should get a rebate check of $1200 if you claim your 2 kids as dependents on your 2007 levy return.
why are people complaining around free money? Its FREE money..don't complain about something you weren't even expecting..be satisfied your getting it!
Is there a tax program that tells u if a child has already been claimed? if so what is it?
Answers: No, there isn't a specific program. The IRS doesn't release that information due to its private and confidential nature.
Instead, the IRS e-file computer will reject an electronically filed tax return where the child's social security number has been used on a previously filed return claiming the child for the same purpose.
The same child can appear on more than one return, but the child's dependent exemption can only be used by one taxpayer. Child tax credit, and Additional child tax credit belong to one taxpayer. Child and dependent care credit only belongs to one taxpayer. And the right to claim Earned income credit, using the child, only belongs to one taxpayer.
If the tax return is mailed to the IRS, letters will be sent to each taxpayer who claims the same child. The letters will request more information, for the purpose of determining which taxpayer actually has the right to the claim the child's dependent exemption of $3400 (for 2007 tax year), and allowable credits..
