Tax rebate point?

ok it says 600 per personage and 1200 per married couple plus 300 per child. what if you are single with a child would you gain 900?

Answers: What I have see so far indicates that would be the case, however, at hand is an exception. if you didnt have to clear taxes, because of your income level or your earn income credit, you may only achieve the initial 300.00. so far it has not be made clear what to expect, I suspect very soon that we will own more details, afterall, it was purely approved by congess.
Individuals who pay income taxes would obtain up to $600, working couples $1,200 and those with children an added $300 per child under the agreement. Workers who create at least $3,000 but don’t retribution taxes would get $300 rebate.

The first rebate payments could begin going out within May, and most people could hold them by July, Paulson said, noting that the IRS will already be overwhelmed processing 2007 import tax returns. The rebates be expected to cost about $100 billion, and the packet also includes close to $50 billion in business levy cuts.
Yes, you will get $900 if you are single next to one child, provided you are in the qualify income bracket (made between $3K and $75K in 2007)

What? I deliberate she messed up....?

I have be with my current employer since August & on my W2 form she didnt put anything within the "federal income tax withheld". What does this denote? On every other W2 form I have recieved at hand was a number nearby. I thought they had to next to hold money for that but my employer said that spot was for extra taxes withheld & in that shouldn't be anything in that spot. I database my taxes as single & no dependents...Please help me! If yall want any other information then lately let me know...

Answers: unless you be considered an independent contractor your employer should have withheld taxes. ask your employer which spot shows your federal income import tax withheld.
You might need to adjust your W-4 withholdings. I once elected on my W-4 that I was exempt so my employer did not lug any taxes out for several months. When I noticed I asked them and chock-full out a new W-4.

Tax compensation?

Is it true that if you are married and filing in concert that you will receive an extra $1200.00 and $300.00 per child? Someone told me that we will get this seperate from our settlement , like within mid May or June.

Answers: yep, its not 100% for sure yet but its sure lookin that means of access. Thats what congress came up next to and so far everybody (including Bush) seems to be on the ship. There are income caps though, I believe its something similar to $150,000 for married filing mutually.
