If i have a stafford loan and i have a deferment will the i.r.s take my tax return?




Answers: Not on a deferment...you will only be irs offset if you have a defaulted loan...meaning your stafford loan was over 270 days delinquent...as long as u are current, in a deferment, or forbearance you are good to go!
Not unless you are in default. If you are they may if payment arrangements are not made. Good Luck.

I still live at home with my parents while I'm at college full time but I also work full time nonetheless my parents claim me as a dependent and rightfully so. But with this plan one introduced today I did not fully understand whether everyone earn a paycheck would qualify or not even though I pulled in nearly 24k this year
