Taxes Questions and Answers

Are the income limits for the tax "rebate" plan the actual amount earned, or adjudsted gross?

Answers: I had the same question. It looks like adjusted gross income.

"The rebates would phase out gradually for individuals whose adjusted gross income exceeds $75,000 and for couples with incomes above $q50,000. Contributions to IRA and 401(k) retirement accounts and health savings accounts would not count toward the income limit."

I am glad for that, but I still think that if people who don't pay taxes are going to get it then certainly everyone who pays taxes should be eligible. Weird logic.
No one really knows right now, it's still just talk.

The alien charge rebate??

ok i just file my taxes yesterday through efile. and i read today that they passed the rebate. So will i get this and if so will it be included contained by the check or a seperate one? I am self employed child care next to 1 dependent son. how much if i do? i guess just put in the picture me what you can!

Answers: The so called "rebate" plan have not been signed by the president all the same, but it is expected that he will do so. The actual checks are supposed to go out within June and will be seperate from any refund checks issued.
The plan is $600 per parent (up to two), and $300 per kid. It is of late a proposal so far. I don't know if they'll rework for people who've already file assuming it passes.

Does anyone know of any righteous due preparer surrounded by michigan?

I just started home daycare within michigan and I'm looking for a good charge preparer to help me do my taxes. Any suggestions will be compliant!

Answers: don't know what part of the state you live within, but my mom works for H&R Block out of toledo (we're 20 mins form the state line), and lives in SE michigan. she does taxes for both states (as okay for other states too). if you'd like her info, permit me know.
