Answers: W2s should be very close to your W2 but payroll can and sometimes do kind adjustments after the finishing paycheck of the year. Ask them why they did or perhaps you are not concerned it properly, either passageway they can help you know it. It is your W2 that the IRS receives and to be exact what your return should be based on.
contact hr it sounds as if someone get thier wires crossed. unfort it may take a while to attain a new w2

How long should you wait to file banckupcy?

Answers: Need more content. You shouldn't file if you can help it. I filed 10 years ago and just now got my credit back.. It's not worth it.
You should wait your whole life before filing bankrupcy.

Sell as much of the crap that you bought to get you INTO trouble as you can, and pay off as much of the debt that you can. Cut out extras like cable / satellite, eating out, telephone, gym memberships, movies, magazine subscriptions, etc, and use that money towards paying off your debts.

If you only have one job, get two. If you have two, get three. In effect, bankrupcy is taking someone else's stuff without paying for it, which is stealing. Do everything you have to do to pay your debts and learn from your mistakes.
File it after you have received your refund...and you may have to show an itemize list on how you spent the money...but you do not have to show receipts...and u cant pay bills ahead...put stuff like car repairs, clothes, etc...if you file bankruptcy b4 u file your return.the the trustee will take that 4 your bankruptcy...they will make you sign the check over to them...

Is it lawful to claim someone as a dependent but they still work?

my boyfriend/fiance lives with his parents at the moment but still works a clothed job. so they really don't support him. but his father still claimed him as a dependant. near out my boyfriends w2s. is that legal. it simply doesn't seem right too me especially if my boyfriend have a job and he's the one that usually supports them. Is that decriminalized or shoud my boyfriend file for himself? I'm also afraid his father will try to claim him subsequent year even after we are married(doing that this year). can he do that too?

Answers: The test whether one is still a qualify child often depends (among other things similar to age, full-time student or not, disabled or not, living with parents for more than partially the year) on application of the support test. If the child -- your boyfriend -- provided more than partly his own support for the year he's not going to be a legitimate dept of his folks. "Support" includes food and lodging (fair rental merit including furnishings, heat and other utilities), clothing, medical (including med insurance), background expenses, transportation, recreation and entertainment. You'll call for to add it adjectives up and see who has paid/provided what. Depending on how much money your boyfriend earn in '07, he may or may not own been impacted financially by the parent's declaration to claim him as a dept. Having a job, by itself, doesn't really ending the inquiry. You need to evaluate who provided what support over the export tax year.

As for next year when you're married, the rules enunciate you cannot claim a married person who files a combined return as a dept UNLESS that joint return is individual a claim for a refund (i.e., no taxes are due) and near would be no tax liability for any spouse on separate returns. So next year will be even tougher for the folks to claim him unless you two earn incredibly little income and remain in the parents home w/their support.
If he is lower than 18 and lives at home, his dad probably can. If he is under 25 and a full time college student and lives at home his dad might be capable of if he can prove he provided over half his support.

If your boyfriend is over 18 and provides over partly his support, he should claim himself on his return. His dad shouldn't claim him if he doesn't support him.
