Tax Rebates Deal...?

I'm reading all over the report sites that they've agreed to a tax rebate deal. No event how many times I read it, I don't infer if this even applies to me.

I'm a single parent in New Hampshire, and I made roughly 15 elegant this year, I don't own a house.

Am I supposed to be getting a rebate in the communication? And if so, are we going to have to pack out paperwork, or is it just automatic next to your tax returns? I'm so confused as to how this will affect me.

Thank you.

Answers: They will convey you a check automatically if you filed a return for 2007 and made at least possible $3000. You will be eligible for $300 unless you have children and afterwards you are suppose to get $300 per child up to $1200 max. Go ahead and profile your 2007 return because it is totally separate from any refund you may be getting from that. You will gain a separate check in the correspondence sometime in June or July I believe.

Here's the up-to-the-minute article:

Keep reading the news reports and someone will finally explain it within plain terms. My supportive is you will get it automatically. Of course you entail to do your 2007 return as usual. You will get $300 for sure if hold children you can claim.

Can i claim Head of Household?

IF my working boyfriend claimed zero? and i discharge just something like everything

Answers: Here is the guideline from the IRS:

You may be able to report as head of household if you stumble upon all the following requirements.

1. You are unmarried or “considered unmarried” on the ending day of the year.
2. You salaried more than half the cost of keeping up a home for the year.
3. A “qualifying person” lived next to you in the home for more than partially the year (except for temporary absence, such as school).

Check out the IRS site for more details on what a "qualifying person" is: http://www.irs.gov/publications/p501/ar0...
I believe you both can. You aren't married so it doesn't situation...
