Filing Taxes on H&R block-Daycare expenses?
I just file (but didnt mail contained by yet) my taxes through H&R Block Tax Cut. Entered all my info and printed the completed forms. I'm married, file jointly, hold a 3 yr old and a 9 mth ancient, included mortage interest and real estate export tax. When I tired to enter my daycare expenses, it said I didnt need to b/c the standard deduction were complex. People are telling me I can still claim the daycare in need itemizing it. How and where? I did this online - not next to a rep at the office. Also, if I do include the daycare (which I spent the $6,000. max allowed for both children) and multiply that by 0.20 according to the 2441 form, it comes to 1200. to put on the 1040 form. Will I bring back more of a refund if I put in the daycare expenses? If I dont, can my refund be larger (as it is than end year and I did NOT include the daycare this time around)
P.S. I left the program give somebody a lift me through all the steps. I freshly entered what be on my W2's, mortgage int., real est. rates and it was done.

Upcoming Tax rebate?
Do teenegers that work and made at least $3000 achieve the $300 rebate also? or is it just for adults because im 17Answers: No one is getting anything all the same and no one know what the final rules will be. It is being held up right presently and who knows when they will stop discussing drug use by athletes and capture on with the available job of the real issues near the economy.
No ones know yet as nearby is no law as of immediately.
but.
My guess is that, if you are claimed as a dependent on your parents return, you will not receive the rebate.
Under the bill passed by the House, if you are claimed as a dependent, your parents will be eligible for the additional $300 rebate for you as a dependent child.
Under the bill passed by the House, you also would be eligible to receive a rebate of up to $600 if you salaried that much in Federal Income Tax. If you single paid $350 contained by taxes (less than the $600 rebate limit), you only bring back $350. If you have earned income of at lowest possible $3000, you would get at lowest the minimum rebate of $300.
While the rebate depends on your 2007 income, it is actually a rebate toward your 2008 taxes. According to the proposed plan, contained by 2008, taxes would be cut from 10 percent to zero percent on the first $6,000 dollars of taxable income for individual taxpayers.
It's resembling a one time tax cut for 2008, but you find the rebate now instead of waiting to directory your 2008 taxes. Because this is an advance reward on your 2008 taxes, your refund subsequent year could be more (or less!) depending on your 2008 income.
