To avoid tariff, can I set up an IBC, subcontract to my employer, wage myself into an offshore vindication?
The money would never be deposited in a domestic ridge account. Money would be spent straight from the offshore report. The IRS would never see it right?
Is this possible and/or legal to the best of anyone's comprehension?
Answers: NO. And now that you've allerted everyone, the Fed's will be watching you.
:(
Totally ILLEGAL.
You do realize that if you want to spend the money, the verbs of funds (bank to bank) or using a credit card tied to the account will trade name the money visible to the organization and IRS.
Using $50K from a credit card and reporting $0 in income will clearly draw attention.
Add't information. If you want to stop paying US taxes, move to the deserted island and stop being a US entity...though it will take another 10 years for the taxes to stop if the IRS determines your edict to give up your citizenship is to avoid paying taxes.
When you start a foreign assignment?
and they ask you for your exemptions-what are you supposed to put? what do you recommend? 0 or 1?
(I'm single, no kids. I live at home with my parents.)
Answers: I'd put 1 if I be you. That means you'll carry more money up front in your paychecks and they won't purloin so much out in taxes. If you put 0 down, you'll receive a huge refund check during toll time but I'd prefer to get that money sooner within my paychecks. The chances of you certainly oweing anything to the government during export tax time will be very small if you put 1 and you might still even take a refund. Putting 0 down will guarantee tiny paychecks!
to bring the most taxes taken out so you have the biggest karma of breaking even come tax time claim 0, if you want a slight break, claim 1 or 2
i claim 2 and ive never owed, and still find a refund
0 so they hold out adequate taxes...believe me, it's nicer to get a settlement than to have to income if they don't hold out enough. happen to us last year, and it sucked big time.
