Am I eligible for the up to date import tax rebate? I am a single, stay at home mom, and I view other kids...?
I had a babe in 2007, so I know nearby is some sort of a deductible for that. Last year I lived with my sister, and I made just about 7,000 for the year. I don't receive any other income( no child support, money from the gov, I don't own a home, no stocks or bonds, etc...) I do own a vehicle...but I don't know if that means anything for taxes. I file last year for taxes. Any import tax info would help so much!! ThanksAnswers: Sounds similar to when you file this year (for 2007) you will hold one dependent child on there adding up $300 to your rebate. Also from the sounds of it you made more than 3,000, but did not owe any taxes (you got a reimbursement of everything you paid in) so you will receive the minimum of $300 for yourself.
Total $600.
If you made over $3000 in 2007 you will most credible be eligible for a $300 rebate for yourself plus $300 for each odf your kids that you claim on your return.
If you monitor other kids and are paid for it, that money is taxable income to you, and you are required to claim it on your toll return.
Good luck.
If one quits how long does the company have to issue you your last paycheck and/ or commission check?
Answers: Here, if you quit, you get your paycheck on the next payday. If you are fired, the company has 72 hours to get you your paycheck.
It should be the next normal pay period either way. Since most companies have someone else do their payroll and if you quit in the middle of a pay period then you may get your normal check at the next pay period then have to wait on your last one. I've quit a lot of jobs and never had to wait more than the usual time to get my checks. It's your money, they cant legally keep it from you.

Online is generally easier and more convienent and you recieve your discount faster...
I've done it both ways...online is much better.
If you file online, you enjoy the option of e-filing, which if you enjoy a bank statement to accept direct deposit, will result within getting your refund faster.
Also, if you directory online, you will have the selection to print off newspaper copies of your return.
File by paper. Filing on-line costs at lowest possible $20 and why spend it when it will take you perchance 10 minutes to do it on paper for free?
