You are correct to point out the sickness of American "culture" which worships the things that are are killing and enslave its people.
And you are correct to point out the hypocrisy and corruption that give tax-exempt status to a huge industry of untold (because they don't have to) comfortable circumstances that many copious Americans not only don't own any use for but are contemptuous of, and how the whole entry violates your own Constitution.
However, at hand are many abundant bizarre things you Americans worship, and you'd have to bequeath them tax-free status too, which would result in a huge increase contained by your imbalance of trade next to China and the oil-producing countries, because most of the tax benefits would flow to them, a bit than to American firms.
Too bad you culture forgot how to make anything except hamburgers and fraudulent monopolies.

Take a look at how portly our country has become! It have been contained by simi recent years, and it is a result of our lifestyles changing to an other on the go, not a soul cooking at home. Wonder why children are entering puberty earlier? Fatty foods are associated next to this.
McDonalds is also one of the worlds most prosperous companies, they make money, within is no reason why someone who can afford to live should receive rates cuts, tax cuts should be given to those who call for them.

Answers: If they would be a dependent if still alive, yes. Death doesn't affect this in the year of death. It is like a baby being born during the year, you claim them for the whole year.
