When will the stimulus taxes be sent?

My mom wants to know when they will be sent out, what establish they will be sent out in, and if they are taking taxes out of them.
if anybody know the answers to any of the above ?'s, perferably the 2nd and 3rd question, please answer them. THANX


Answers: 1. According to the IRS:

Starting within May, the Treasury will begin sending stimulus payments to more than 130 million individuals. The stimulus payments will stir out through the late spring and summer.


2. The lay down in which they will be sent out have not been announced.

3. Since it is a duty rebate, not income, taxes will not be withheld from them.

I read CNN news on-line and it stated that we should start to receive our rebate in May 2008. They have not determined as to what sequence, as of this past Friday. If you stir to
www. irs.com, at the top it gives you an update, and it also say to check back for adjectives update. I am not sure if they are taking taxes out of them.
Timing is May through July, no idea who comes first. No taxes will be withheld from them.

Will I receive the $300 rebate for my disabled adult daughter who I claim as a dependent on my taxes?




Answers: No. The age limit for the rebate for dependent children is 17. Disability is not a consideration under the terms of the rebate bill.
If she is totally and permanently disabled, she is a qualified child dependent, and as such you'd get the $300 for her.

DO i draw from my 600 bush stimulus pack?

Hi im and 18 year old resident of michigan and i live next to my parents. They claimed me under their taxes this year and i be wondering if i still get my 600$ dollars from the bundle. I would appreciate any details thnx


Answers: If your parents claim you as a dependent, you will be ineligible for the rebate, but you may still benefit under the plan.

While the rebate depends on your 2007 status and income, it is in reality a rebate toward your 2008 taxes. According to the proposed plan, in 2008, taxes would be cut from 10 percent to nought percent on the first $6,000 dollars of taxable income for individual taxpayers.

So if you have taxable income contained by 2008, you will see a tax cut when you wallet in 2009.
No, dependents don't qualify for the rebate.
