If you step to a reputable tax preparer, (look for an enrol agent- who has be tested by the IRS) they can give you a direct deposit repayment within 14 days for no extra fees.
That said - at hand are certain import tax returns that cannot be filed until February 11th, because the legislature be slow in making decision on how they were going to manipulate the AMT issue. It may be that your tax return is one of those the IRS be not ready to process.

How much would H&R block (CA) charge for a $1400 levy return?
I put my information into Turbo Tax and found that my refund will be a bit over $1400. I needed to know if anyone knew how much the Master Card loan fees are. Will i grasp it right away (i need it by Sat). They told me that it would cost $80 for them to do it, though i already did the paperwork, i in recent times want fast lolly. Can I just hold them process it, or is it still $80? How much would they take out? please lend a hand!Answers: You've lived without it this long, try doing short it a bit longer.
I betya that when you get to the store the fees will be WAAAAY more than $80.00. I am thinking that you will pay envelope about $200.00 for the electronic file and the rapid reimbursement or RAL or whatever they are calling it at the present time.

Ask some friends, visit a few Accounting offices, get a feel for what you want.
Analyse what you need from an Accountant. Get a feel for the whole scheme of things.
Some accountants are good for some things and others are not.
