Is my son due exempt?
He made about 11,000 end year in his subdivision time jobs, he only just turned 18 in November of 07 and is a full time elevated school student. Should he hold claimed exempt with both employer last year. I don't know why but I thought if he be a full time high college student he would get it adjectives back.Answers: No, he is not charge exempt. There is no law that automatically exempts students from paying taxes. Based on an earn income of $11,000, he is required to file a return.
You can read the requirements on page 7 of the instructions to Form 1040.

Answers: there are a TON of companies that offer free web-based filing services that do your taxes for you. you fill in some numbers, they complete your taxes for you. check out this page on the IRS website to find a website to use: http://www.irs.gov/app/freeFile/jsp/inde...
and if you make less than $54000 you efile for free!
good luck!
Hmm…….great question. Wasn’t too sure of the answer myself...
