Taxes Questions and Answers

Can i claim the paid amount to daycare in my 2007 tax return?

Answers: Check out www.irs.gov there are rules concerning the child care credit that depend on your situation . If you use a tax service or an online service it will ask for the amounts and apply them if you qualify for the credit. You will need the providers id number, address, and the amount paid for each child. Each specific family is going to have different advantages from a credit like this because it is non-refundable which means if you have a 0 tax liability after your standard deduction and exemptions it is not going to be a benefit to you. If you have a tax lability it will reduce that amount. Hope this was helpful

Is nonemployee compensation unearned or earned income?

Answers: It is earned income! And, if it is more than $400 you have to file a Schedule C and also pay self-employment taxes on this amount.

Once you determine the net income (on the non-employee compensation) then the tax on that will be the regular rate plus 15.3%.

Hope this helps

I know he have my proper current address because I haven't moved in over two yrs and he tried the exact same point when mailing my concluding check. When I made it clear to him I would not be coming back to the business to collect the check and would contact the labor board if he did not e-mail it, it arrived promptly along with the ingenious envelope that had clearly be purposely mis-addressed. Frankly I've had it beside this mentally unstable freakshow and want to retaliate with every legalized resource at my disposal. What can I do people?

You need to turn pick it up. You are only hurting yourself. He have proof he attempted to mail it to you and it be returned. What proof do you have that the check be purposely addressed wrong?

You can misuse your time calling the IRS just for them to name him and request the information when meanwhile it is your return that is on hold and zilch will happen to him except a phone call. Remember he have proof it was returned to sender
ok, you really inevitability to realize that by allowing him to make you this upset, you are solitary hurting yourself. Don't carry that unnecessary drama around near you. Take a couple of big guys with you and pick up your W2. And go off it at that, don't give the guy any delight at all. Then profile your taxes, get your reimbursement and laugh adjectives the way to the wall. He is so not worth the emotional trauma it will create you. He knows he HAS to endow with you your W2, but if he has proof no situation the circumstance, that he attempted to mail it to you and it be returned then he can droop on to it until you pick it up claiming that you never contacted him with a valid address. If you still insist on not going here in party, send him a certified memo with your correct mail address and make sure you hold a delivery confirmation by signature form so that he have to sign for the letter proving that you did contact him if you lapse up in court. But seriously, you will pause up emotionally scared, broke from have to pay your own permissible fees because most judges will ask why you didn't newly go pick it up, and resting on that, he will get the statisfaction of putting you through adjectives of that mess. It's not worth it. Please just turn pick it up, for you.
