i would like to know if i hold to file taxes collective even if my wife only worked 4 months on a available job last year and i dont own to wait for her w-2? or do i own to file cohesive with her w-2 any other tips would be helpfull thank you.Answers: Read this.see if it help.

you don't have to report joint but it would work out better for you if you lurk on her w2 and file as one

These grants are nontaxable scholarship to the extent used for tuition and course-related expenses during the grant length. If you use the grant for tuition, books, lab fees, after NONE of it is taxable and it is not reported anywhere.
I don't recall ever recieving any tax-related document showing the awarding of the Pell allow as it is usually paid directly to the university/college.
(If you use subdivision of the pell grant for tuition, food, travel expenses, consequently that part is treated as reportable income.)
My kids adjectives got Pell grant, and we didn't report anything. They applied the Pell grant to their tuition and books, and the other expenses be either salaried for with loans or money they earn.
