2008 due rebate checks!!?

Basically my wife and i made about 45k second year. do we get the full rebate? where on earth can i find out?

Answers: Under the compromise bill passed by the Senate, couples filing as one would be eligible to receive a rebate of up to $1200 if they paid that much within Federal Income Tax. If you only compensated $750 in taxes (less than the $1200 rebate limit), you single get rear legs $750. Since you had earn income of at least $3000, you would go and get at least the minimum rebate of $300.

While the rebate depends on your 2007 income, it is in fact a rebate toward your 2008 taxes. According to the proposed plan, in 2008, taxes would be cut from 10 percent to nil percent on the first $6,000 dollars of taxable income for individual taxpayers.

It's like a one time tariff cut for 2008, but you get the rebate immediately instead of waiting to file your 2008 taxes. Because this is an finance payment on your 2008 taxes, your discount next year could be more (or smaller number!) depending on your 2008 income.
Here is a yahoo article covering the rebate conditions:

It looks like we are disallowed to $300 for each dependent, which be initially discussed, you get $1200 per couple earn less than $150k and $600 per individual earn less than $75k.

Not sure why the interconnect isn't showing up.. but it's on the yahoo homepage, as well.

Any other tax deductables i should know give or take a few would help A LOT. i necessitate all the money i can gain

Answers: Interest you paid on a motor isn't deductible.

On the stolen one there's some possibility you could claim it as a casualty loss if you itemize. But from your comments about the insurance company refuse to pay and not wanting to catch into the details, it sounds like nearby are issues that might make you incompetent to claim that one.

Medical bills people are trying to collect aren't deductible - medical bills you hold actually rewarded can be under some circumstances.
You can claim the interest on your mortgage, medical bills, fees for license tabs(plates), cost of charge preparation from previous year, any donations you made such as goodwill or salvation army, church, but you can't claim what you remunerated for vehicles. You can claim losses though but enjoy proof of all deduction in armour you are audited.

How can I use my new car as a tax write-off/deduction? I'm making payments.?

Answers: Do you own a business the car is used for? If it's your personal car, then it's not deductible.
I'm pretty sure you can only do that if it's a business expense. Ask your tax guy.
By the way, it's NOT a good idea to lie on your taxes. It will cause huge problems for you, the least of which will be a long and painful audit.
you can only do this if you have a business - not if its a car used for personal use. :(
