Taxes Questions and Answers

Before when the govt. gave the rebates if you got the earned income credit you did not get it is it the same?

Answers: Under the latest proposal being looked at, you'd still get the rebate as long as you had income over $3000 for 2007. Congress is still debating the details, so it's very likely that some things will still change, and nobody knows what those changes will be.

Social surety check.?

i am a mother of two teens, i live alone, and they live with within dad. i was put on disability going on for 4 years ago. they both get a check every month. one of my girls is turning 18 within febuary, where will her check progress? will it be added to her sisters or added to mine or just done away beside? thanks

Answers: I detestation to talk shyt to you but you might want to contact the social wellbeing office to update them of the living arrangements.
Your girls attain that money based on the reality that you are their sole support.
Since they do not live with you, they are NOT entitled to it.
Contact Social guarantee NOW and tell them that the girls purely moved last month. If your husband files them as dependents it wont be tricky to guess who took care of them.
YOu dont want this coming put money on to haunt you.
It would depend on what her check is for--the grounds she gets it. She could hang on to receiving her own check until she marry, in which crust, if it is due to a disability, she would lose a major portion of it, upon matrimonial. I seriously doubt they would add to yours or her sister's, it's not a annihilation benefit, to be given to another. It 's hers, and it would be hers or no one's.
SSI is something you applied for you. Someone applied for your girls to get it. It's not welfare... so her delivery after her 18th b'day is dependent totally on what the disability is and why she receive it.
Once she hits 18 it will end, won't be added to someone else's.

How I calculate my income tax if I am a contractor?

Answers: It isn't possible to say based on your individual contract amount. Taxes are progressive - there are tax brackets that increase with the more you make. There are also non refundable tax credits that you may be eligible for.
