Taxes Questions and Answers

Do I qualify for the duty rebate or the extended benefits if I receive job loss benefits?

I currently receive unemployment by no choice of my own, I be laid off surrounded by October 2007. Will I receive a tax rebate. I know they are trying to also sign a bill for associates whose unemplyment benefits have finished. Which category do I fall into? Or am I vanished out?

Answers: It doesn't matter if you are currently on the dole. What matters is the amount of income you received surrounded by 2007 before you be laid off.

According to the current plan, if you own at least $3000 surrounded by income, you would receive $600 if you are single, $1200 if you are married and filing as one.

Nothing has passed Congress however and all of this is subject to changeover.
If you have a duty liability in 2007, afterwards you should get a rebate check. Having a rates liability means that your total taxes on your toll return is greater than zero regardless if you enjoy a tax repayment or not.

BTW, receiving dismissal benefits was your choice. You lone get severance benefits because you applied for them.

I'm single and made $19,000 earned income in 2007. how much will my tax rebate be?

Answers: According to the current plan, since you have sufficient income, you would receive $600. Nothing has passed Congress yet and all of this is subject to change.
It depends on what your 2007 tax liability was. If it was greater than zero, which it probably was, then you will get a rebate check.

Refund.?

i filled my taxes at hrblock, and applyed for the fast refund i found out that i be denied, they saud that it would be a 8 to 11 day return,we also found out that we owed 1900 dollars for posterior taxes in 2004/2005 my total return be for 6,387.00. now exclusion the 1900 will i still recieve the rest from hrblock in my 8 to 11 days or will irs transport it to us?we were have it put on the emarld card just wondering how we will receive the remaing harmonize owed to us?

Answers: Since you chose a RAL, your refund be diverted to Block's partner bank. Once your return is file there's no way to alter that so you'll have to pick up your repayment at the Block office that prepared your return.

Your settlement will be reduced by the outstanding debt and you'll receive the balance. The IRS say that if your refund is subject to balance or capture that it may be delayed by 4 to 6 weeks. However my close watch has be that if the offset is for a debt to the IRS your repayment won't be delayed much, if at all. If the debt be to an outside agency such as a student loan or child support it would have to be verified beside that agency first and that is what seem to trigger most of the delays.
you should gain it from h&r because they took my state check last year for a bill i owed from a reck within 2004 last year. But you could ring up or go online to my fedarul reimbursement.com. Next year I would use taxact.com amd do your taxes I did this year and pais 15 dollars on the 14th and they direct deposited my check on the 25th it only costed 15 dollars
