My brother and I started our own business in April, 2007. Our company is two member partnership/LLC. (no employees) What kind of forms do I entail to file? K-1? What steps do I requirement to follow. I also have a leading job contained by which I received a W-2. On my regular return I will include ordinary gain/loss from businnes. How do I progress about.
Thank you surrounded by advance.
Claude.

Answers: Your partnership files a 1065. The partnership includes adjectives business related income and expenses. The result is a K-1 that becomes your source document for your own income taxes.

While the partnership return is due 4/15, you really call for to get it done sooner than that so you can carry your own tax return done.
Hey Claude - Congrats within starting a new company. Partnerships can be tricky. I would strongly urge you to wish assistance from a professional, but to answer your question, you would call for to complete a 1065 which would include the K-1. Be sure to keep track of your starting place and split your profit, losses and expenses appropriately. PShips are not easy, are you sure you want to deal with this?

Good luck

I live in Delaware and work in Pennsylvania. Will I be taxed on my income in the both states?

Answers: Unless they have an agreement, you file NR in Pa, pay taxes on the PA-source income; then file the Delaware resident return and take a credit for taxes paid to PA.
